when they said "his Partner" did they mean a climbing partner,or boy friend?
He was my parent’s friend’s son. So sad. I think Alex went to the funeral, I can’t remember
Rest in Peace Sir
I free solo in my parking lot with no seatbelt
Virtually inaccessible? What difference does it make. He died on impact.
Calculated Risks are ALWAYS taken in Rock Climbing… but Free Climbers live (and die) to thumb their noses at the Safety Aspects of Rock Climbing. Their choice… but I wouldn't call it a "Good Decision". For every "Famous" Free Climber there's probably 2 more in the grave, and 10 more in wheelchairs.
My God, that's a lot of make up on that anchor. Poor guy though, RIP man.
"he spent a lot of time figuring out what he would do" How did that work out for him?
Lol wtf did he THINK would happen!? You tempt death on the reg it might just take your offer
We (Republicans) feed the hungry, house the homeless and help nurse babies.
Liberals do this. Idiots
Millenials are really STUPIDD
If he was so good, y did he fall.?

People do what they want to do, and that’s ok…
That man lived more that ONE day, than some of you will this entire year… He was living life, you morons play it safe.
I'm sorry dude but your passion wasn't worth your life smh
Why do we always eulogize the "daredevils" who cut their lives short by doing "death defying" feats? The comment we always hear is that, "He died doing what he loved and fulfilling his passion". Perhaps we should look at a person's contribution to life from another angle … the doctor who lived his normal years of life loving his job of being able to save other people's lives, having a passion for his work but also grateful to have lived a long life himself with a loving wife and family. Or, another example is the minister who lived what most people would judge as a "boring, unexciting life" yet put his whole being into serving God and saving souls, grateful for every day God allowed him to live, because doing so was his passion. Doctors, nurses, ministers, social workers can have just as much "passion" and "love" for their lives as the daredevil. We are all given the freedom to choose if we wish to treat our body as a "temple" or go out early in life being remembered as having the most views on the Fail Compilation Channel's weekly "Failathon".
Sad for the parents
Why climb why resist gravity.
It’s sad man !!! I wish we could climb this fucking life for ever !!!
In the end, I think they all know that this is how they will die. One base jump teacher once said, each climber has two jars, an experience jar and a luck jar. Every time you successfully climb and return home, you take from your luck jar and place it into your experience jar….eventually, the luck jar runs out. 1,000 ft. fall is a long way down. Rest in peace.
(He was doing a simultaneous abseil and didn't tie a knot in the end of the rope.)
It's very brave to climb with equipment. Why take a chance on losing your life? Not brave….stupid
that "hi if you want more videos subscribe " at the end was way off . Guys can't you stop being so fake just for one minute?
I don't understand the need to climb mountains with no safety harness or rope. Makes no sense. I admire their courage but at the cost of losing your life for what? I just agree with climbing mountains at all. It's not meant for humans to do. Makes no sense at all…..
He knew he would die this way. He didn’t care.
Wow 😆I was watching his old videos never knew he died
I love to watch people free solo, im afraid of heights, that's why i have an interest in the hobby. I never like to climb because getting down is much more difficult.
Here's some wisdom I want to pass along. Stop climbing fucking mountains!.
This a dumb thing to do
Well deserved fate. Same applies to others recklessly endangering their lives and wasting public resources for their rescue or cadaver retrieval.
Sad. Dies rappelling.
O sympathy
Alex Honnold did this but he prepped not sure this guy did same this climb is world class snd if you do not totally know the moves it will make you pay
His wish came true
RIP so sad
if only he had a gopro recording his fall together, so that we can remimber him all the way down
He wasnt Killed! Hi died in his own will! Period!
Guy found himself between a rock and a hard place.
To me overdosing on heroin makes less sense than dying doing this.
This is why I do not agree with Rock climbing
ðŸ’â€Â
Is there anyone surprised by his death?
Natural selection in full effect.
When the best of the best falls it's time to stop.
