Recommended Practice 752. RP-752 provides guidance for managing the risk from explosions, fires and toxic material releases to on-site personnel located in new and existing buildings intended for occupancy. … Buildings covered by this RP are rigid structures intended for permanent use in fixed locations.Recommended Practice 753. RP 753 provides guidance for reducing the risk to personnel located in portable buildings from potential explosion, fire and toxic release hazards. … Design, construct, install, and maintain occupied portable buildings to protect occupants against potential hazards.Recommended Practice 754 - Process Safety Indicators for the Refining and Petrochemical
Industries….Most of the buildings in both Pasadena plant and Port Neches  plant are of WWII and 50s design….before it is all said and done…gone will be the onsite cafeteria, the old buildings demo'ed and new buidlings a minimium of 500 feet away or further, and the recommended practice 752, 753, and 754 go to mandatory implementation status……..Want to see API RP 752, 753 , and 754 being implemented just look at (ChevronPhillips) CP Chem site in Cedar Bayou and LyondellBasell in Channelview,Texas…..just to name a couple of model plants……Both plants already have their Risked Based Inspection programs in place which categories process equipment, process piping, and process storage tanks according to consequences of failure and external / internal inspection of equipment on a 3, 5, and 10 year interval according to consequences of failure..both plants put some thought into their programs and are some of the safest plants to work in………
RIP Red Adair….
I was watching the china chemical explosion the day this happened
I'm sure the chemical safety board will put out a YouTube video like they did but the other investigations they've done on the aftermath and how the accident happened
Anyone saw on tik tok?
Looks like an act of terrorism? Why,all the oil refinery problems. Somebody in the republican party, needs to call Putin, or Rudy?

Wasn't Sonic's fault y'all….
We saw the smoke when we drove by
Damn Texas and their over regulations.
Next, its Trumps fault.
Damn If I saw that flash of light. I would have thought “ah shit a nu……..â€ÂÂ
Remember last week when Trump's EPA started rolling back chemical-plant safeguards?
Demonnrats did this because Texas is a Red state.
Reminds me of Aramco explosion in Saudi Arabia
everything's bigger in Texas even the explosions
Compliments of Saudi Aramco who just purchased that plant. Now sue their kriminal arses!
Hey Texas, hows Rick Perrys low business regulation working for you?
Weak ass news don't even show explosion
Watch for an uptick in sicknesses! Is Texas under attack?
I bet there will be news about Russia, Iran, and China behind this. 😂😂😂 fucking US.
Save palastine Donald Trump's please …. U don't save palastine … More fire in America ….. You see California? Los Angeles? Then texas ? Then NEW YORK ??? Save palastine .. Islam is not terrorist …
Hopefully the plant owners are paying for the thousands of homes damaged and relocation of the people forced to evacuate.
