How do you get rid of rust but not the other stuff that the rust may be covering up? Metal Rescue is your solution. It’s an environmentally friendly solution to this very problem.
In this video I demonstrate how Metal Rescue works. I even have some cool time lapse for you.
I use it, I like it, and I recommend it if you’re looking to remove rust from something. They did NOT pay me to say that. That is my own opinion and I stick by it.

Didn't understand instructions. Car now fully submerged.
Eric I want to see you fix cars…
Wonder if this safe for percussion tube chimes?
Can i put it into my cooling system to clean the block and radiator?
Use this stuff on car parts
Is this safe for inside a gun receiver? how well do you need to clean the surface especially for gun oil? There’s a difficult spot/crevice that I can’t get to in order to scrub everything out.
And a happy birthday
Overpriced phosphoric acid.
Apparently not toxic for car guys either, at least in small cut-size quantities. Thanks for sharing!
Whats the retail price for export?
Anything similar sold in Europe?
Is it just an expensive bottle of vinegar?
Would it be okay to run this in cooling system for a day or two???

White vinegar is cheaper.
20.07.18 – a good product but a tad pricey here in Australia $58 for 5 litres.
Going to give the Vinegar treatment a try next.
Dumps whole car into Metal Rescue
So what happens if you submerge a whole car in this stuff.
I need some for my sk adjustable wrench father left on the deck for a month and a half.
I have a 2004 Yamaha R1 and while having the fuel pump out I seen there was quiet a bit of rust in the top of my tank. I added metal rescue and turned the tank upside down 24 hours and it looked brand new again. So I spent the next couple days laying the tank different ways to get all of the inside of the tank. My tank looks brand new. I can’t believe how good it looks
Nice!!!!
I hate that fkin look on cars even if the metal is technically "ok"
I'm only @ 0:22. I want to see 5hings that are rusty get not rusty! Yay!
i got this :))))
Is there somewhere I can just drive my whole car into a pool of this stuff?
Oxalic acid powder is way cheaper and all you need. Also called wood bleach. Been using it to remove rust on shit since I was a KID.
show the work done on that mini cooper.
Do they make Kia sephia sized drums? Asking for a friend
I hate rust! It never sleeps, and spend too much time trying to prevent it. Resto work is very satisfying. I usually soak things in vinegar, removes rust and leaves a patina.
It would be cool to only cover half of the jack to see a side by side comparison
does it remove paint?
I ll have to try that
What about items you can't soak like rusty frame rails?
What would help the process go much faster: a small submersible pump or even just a bubbler pump to keep the solution more evenly mixed than natural convection alone.
I'll have to check this stuff out. usually for derusting I use electrolysis. 12v @30 amps in a washing soda/water solution (or convert regular baking soda). use a sacrificial anode and it works great.
how to remove rust if its on a car??
Listen Eric. I'm not hating on you for sponsoring products that actually work. You work really hard on your videos and should be rewarded. People who make negative comments are just being asshats. Don't worry about them. Keep doing your thing man.
Rip fly : /
That's a long time to fix rust check out Rust Oleum rust dissolver I used it just the other day on a old set of channel locks that the whole head got rusted I put it in a cup with the Rust Oleum rust dissolver and it got the rust out of every nook and cranny and didn't cause any damage to the rubber handles
Just use diet coke
Need to park my car in this stuff.
I was onboard until I saw the dead fly.
Looks good. Now hears the 64000 dollar question. How many times can it be reused?? Dies it become saturated in oxidation and stop working. ???? Please text this products longevity!!
looks like either citric acid or vinegar. These products WILL eat the good metal beneath the rust so don't leave your tools in for too long.
Is this different from rust converter? Painted my tail gate recently and was pretty happy with the rust converter- it turned the rust black and then I primed and painted.
what i learned was that metal rescue is in fact "not safe for flies." Eric does mere than just teach about cars, he busts myths about products claiming to be safe on "everything."
