How do you get rid of rust but not the other stuff that the rust may be covering up? Metal Rescue is your solution. It’s an environmentally friendly solution to this very problem.

In this video I demonstrate how Metal Rescue works. I even have some cool time lapse for you.

I use it, I like it, and I recommend it if you’re looking to remove rust from something. They did NOT pay me to say that. That is my own opinion and I stick by it.

  1. Is this safe for inside a gun receiver? how well do you need to clean the surface especially for gun oil? There’s a difficult spot/crevice that I can’t get to in order to scrub everything out.

  2. Интересно,скока эта штука стоит,и есть ли в России в продаже?

  3. I have a 2004 Yamaha R1 and while having the fuel pump out I seen there was quiet a bit of rust in the top of my tank. I added metal rescue and turned the tank upside down 24 hours and it looked brand new again. So I spent the next couple days laying the tank different ways to get all of the inside of the tank. My tank looks brand new. I can’t believe how good it looks

  4. I hate rust! It never sleeps, and spend too much time trying to prevent it. Resto work is very satisfying. I usually soak things in vinegar, removes rust and leaves a patina.

  5. What would help the process go much faster: a small submersible pump or even just a bubbler pump to keep the solution more evenly mixed than natural convection alone.

  6. I'll have to check this stuff out. usually for derusting I use electrolysis. 12v @30 amps in a washing soda/water solution (or convert regular baking soda). use a sacrificial anode and it works great.

  7. Listen Eric. I'm not hating on you for sponsoring products that actually work. You work really hard on your videos and should be rewarded. People who make negative comments are just being asshats. Don't worry about them. Keep doing your thing man.

  8. That's a long time to fix rust check out Rust Oleum rust dissolver I used it just the other day on a old set of channel locks that the whole head got rusted I put it in a cup with the Rust Oleum rust dissolver and it got the rust out of every nook and cranny and didn't cause any damage to the rubber handles

  9. Looks good. Now hears the 64000 dollar question. How many times can it be reused?? Dies it become saturated in oxidation and stop working. ???? Please text this products longevity!!

  10. looks like either citric acid or vinegar. These products WILL eat the good metal beneath the rust so don't leave your tools in for too long.

  11. Is this different from rust converter? Painted my tail gate recently and was pretty happy with the rust converter- it turned the rust black and then I primed and painted.

  12. what i learned was that metal rescue is in fact "not safe for flies." Eric does mere than just teach about cars, he busts myths about products claiming to be safe on "everything."
