football athletes should be able to go straight to the pros after the 1st year in college, just like the NBA. as it is now, they must risk and endure the prospect of getting hurt and be out of football completely during their college careers while the universities get bankrolled on their talents and free/unpaid labor … also based on their financial needs … they should get compensated to a certain extent while in college.
