This is crazy there was not any of this happening back in the eighty's decade .parents got called about the child situation even back then the school staff could not, remember the paddle ?a student without permission which is still not necessary.The student got detention or lost recess thoses type of punishment and parents were notified.This police presence in schools theses days really not called for.All do respect to family and I would say I hope the young lady does not have a permanent health situations.Im done commenting here I'm getting upset myself for this nonsense on students at school they got enough to deal with these days.all respect to the young student and family.

15. That was excessive force, that student could have be seriously injured or died, you heard the crack when their head hit the ground. I cannot see ANY justification for such a takedown unless another persons life was in danger.

18. I was sick to my stomach when i saw how he slammed her to the ground , like he was wrestling cattle. It literally made me dizzy. I was almost traumatized myself. So sad. How do you live with yourself?😠😡👿💀sorry excuse for a human being. Modern day lynchings.

We had a 7 year old neighbor who got hit in the head & the kids with her walked her home & she died From a brain injury. That poor girl didn’t do anything to deserve that kind of treatment. School resource officer is NEVER justified in bodyslamming an unarmed child head first. no matter the situation school officers are supposed to de escalate the situation in a school setting and cannot physically handle a child like that…. aggravated assault or death is not warranted for any crime… especially for a child dispute…. none of this is not even warranted at a school or on a child, unarmed child.

30. I am teaching some young kids….most of whom are Black or Hispanic…yes, they are spirited and have their own ideas about what to do…like most kids…but they are great! I can't imagine them being treated like this starting from their first day in the school system. Of course, I've had slightly older kids run ragged over me and there are classrooms I never want to see again…I'm glad I'm at the beginning where you can still instill confidence and self-worth.

37. I'm a former Social Worker. We were trained how to restrain the kids we worked with in order to keep ourselves, but especially to keep our kids safe in situations where they were combative, in a fight with another kid, etc. I'm 5'2" and I was trained to restrain 6'4" teen boys NONVIOLENTLY in very effective and safe ways.
    There's absolutely ZERO reason that man could ever be justified in doing what he did.

38. nope. I watched this in slow mode and many many times from different views. She was throwing her weight around. it was not the officer's strength that got her slammed down like that. It was her own body weight when the officer tried to detain her. This isn't one of the cases we need to be standing up against. This guy did his job the best he could. He was professional mr. this isa shame how every incident that involves a black and a white person turns in a matter of racism. Black girls lives matter, but preach that into her parents ears. Shame for her for what she did. This not the entire video and when watching the entire thing, you can see exactly what happened.
