Myon Burrell, an
African-American teenager who was sentenced to life in prison over the 2002
murder of 11-year-old Tyesha Edwards. Klobuchar led the case against Myon
Burrell when she was Hennepin County’s district attorney, but the AP report
says she may have mishandled the case and that Burrell could be innocent. The
Associated Press report shows how prosecutors had no DNA or fingerprints tying
Burrell to the murder and that they relied on jailhouse informants, some of
whom have since recanted their testimonies. Burrell has always maintained his
innocence. On the campaign trail, Klobuchar has cited the jailing of Burrell as
one of her achievements and brought up the conviction during a debate in

Amy Klobuchar is like a breath of fresh air among Democrats.
She is not a pandering, race-obsessed, purveyor of Identity Politics populism, and that is a good thing.
Democrats already have an Identity Politics fanatic in Warren, so they don't need another one.
The Democratic Party's circular firing squad is at great risk of nominating a fanatical anti-business socialist who is not even a Democrat, and whose tired envy-based ideology is certain to degrade or even destroy the U.S. economy.
The party would do well to control its suicidal impulses and unite behind a sensible candidate who can appeal to voters other than just those on the far left.

Klobuchar is the closest thing to a moderate that the left has to offer but I don't think she has what it takes to win against President Trump. He's coming into this with a strong economy and the lowest unemployment in decades. And lest we forget the leftwing impeachment debacle is an albatross hanging around the neck of every Democrat contender.
Vote blue no matter who! Congrats to the Dems on a great night. The first of many. Unite! The Rethuglican majority needs to become a minority.
I’m in California and I must say I am impressed by her. I really think she could stand up to Trump if she was the nominee for president. For vice president, she would be a good Balance to the ticket with Biden, Bloomberg, or Sanders.
All of the candidates are working hard & deserve our respect. I am still undecided; I think Bloomberg intimidates the crap out of trump~and when MB releases his tax returns the pressure will be on trump to release his own~but if he releases them we will see that in comparison to Bloomberg; trump is on the lower end of middle class! But Bloomberg has Stop & Frisk issue~ My ONLY issue this election is beating trump~
