18. Love the R8, had a V10 Plus and only complaint was the clear on carbon kept pealing and no front lift system.

24. I've always been an American car guy. But i've always loved how the R8 looks. And honestly, That V10 is stealing my heart. It seems like it drives extremely well too. I need one.

25. Great to see the love for the four rings. Recently had the chance to drive an RWS R8 we had in our shop after a Capristo exhaust install. Beautiful and balanced cars.

32. Not sure if Audi explained the cold program. When the trans and diffs are under a certain temp the transmission program is quite a bit different than it is when its at running temp. I noticed you commented on the weird shift and thats definitely how they act in whats pretty much a safety mode until fluids are at the temperature theyre supposed to be for viscosity and whatnot. Im not talking out my ass im a 12 year Audi master technician in Reno Nevada. Im one of 3 guys in town certified to work on R8s. I know the cars like the back of my hand. When you start with the mods the modules are fairly easy to get into and make changes so thats something youll definitely want to do away with eventually. I do home calls for a guy that lives in Tahoe with a 2016 twin turbo v10 and when we got the kit all bolted up i drove it to my tuner and thank god i brought my trusty old snap on verus scanner because at 6 psi the car went into limp mode. Had to pull over, plug in, and disable it while also making sure to barely let the revs get above 2 grand for the remaining 9 mile drive to my tuners shop. Out of all the exotics ive worked on, R8s are hands down, the best driving, most reliable, surprisingly easy to wrench on supercar of them all. Ive had the rear subframe, engine, trans, dropped out of a 2012 4.2 r8 in less than 3 hours. Full 75k service completed and everything reinstalled by lunch the following day. Im obsessed with the 4.2 model. Just because im obsessed with the 4.2 liter engine, theyre a perfect specimen of what a v8 can be. I will have one twin turbo someday soon. I cant afford a v10. No way. So happy for you bro, you deserve it.
