  1. I'm able to give a Pixelbook REAL world review because I gave it just over 1 year. The Pixelbook is awful. Google support is absolutely awful and showed me NO loyalty back, at all. I had Pixelbook for just over 1 year. The apps are very poorly optimized and often stop working with app updates. Many apps simply do not work on chrome OS. But about Google-specific software: Each & every OS software patch/update brought awful software bugs. Google support is awful. I gave it a full year trial and I wanted to love, heck, even like it but it's truly awful. I'm selling mine and going to move over to try Apple for the first time ever. I do not recommend Pixelbook at all. Buyer beware.

  2. Had Pixelbook for a year and I absolutely love it and I absolutely hate it.
Hardware is amazing. Keypad is best I've ever had or felt. Trackpad is great. Wrist pads great and mine haven't gotten dirty at all (or the rubber on bottom). Love the thinness. The software though.. ugh.. it is ever-frustrating. I continually run into sever lack of optimization and/or apps that work fine then an app update and doesn't work. The OS, itself, has bug after bug, after bug. Each OS update fixes one thing and creates two more bugs it seems. I'm continuously frustrated with bot the OS software and also the apps. Even Google apps (not 3rd party) have had severe bugs. Google calendar, for example, SHOULD be a super basic app had major bugs, more than once. IF chrome OS could get software better, it would be absolutely amazing but because software is so poor/lacking/severely poorly optimized, I can't recommend it. I'm glad I paid $700 for one new and not 1k.

  3. This review was really great and thorough. Liked the unbiased look at it an I think I might consider it as a secondary device with the upcoming sales.

  4. I've watched so many reviews of this and you have the most charisma out of all of them, and the best summary of who should buy one. Perfect A++

  5. Do you see any big developers wanting to put out apps or redevelop apps for the Pixelbook (Autodesk, Adobe, maybe some serious audio producing software…)? I truely hope. I would like to buy one but not if it doesn't serve any purpose.
