  1. I like how Rocco is like 6 or 7 and literally can't even speak, yet we waste tons of money sitting him in normal 1st grade, Paying a 2nd teacher to sit with him while he learns absolutely nothing. Just so his parents can pretend he has the potential to do anything other than what he will end up doing – which is sitting in his room (or taxpayer public housing) watching movies and dreaming about being a normal person while he drools into his apple sauce. He is a pretty adorable round little rollie pollie. I love how fat he's gotten. The fatter they get the more adorable they get. And they all tend to get pretty fat. It felt like just yesterday when Roccos delusional mom held up traffic for 10 minutes forcing roccos super short and chubby little legs to step down the school bus steps. He didn't do it himself, but she literally grabbed his legs and moved them down each step herself – because she was embarrassed with the camera's there that her 6yr old son couldn't even go down one step. He still can't talk and I think he's one of the lower functioning DS kids. But hey, the new thing is to make up your own reality and force other people to agree with it. If they don't go along with your insane fantasy world, then you and social media can gang up on them, attack them, and say they are horrible people for discriminating against those with disabilities. The new definition for someone with a disability is someone who just needs a little more time to figure something out. This new definition implies that someone like Rocco WILL be able to do EVERYTHING normal people can do, after he's given a little more time to get it. Not the REALITY that Rocco WILL NEVER be able to do 95% of what normal people can do, no matter how much time you give him to learn. His mom is so delusional that she thinks the videos of special ed teachers showing Rocco a word written and telling him that word and then Rocco mumbling some other random word back to the teacher is somehow gonna make a difference. It is true that he MIGHT be able to read at a 1st grade level via phonics (which is not the way they teach normal kids how to read, but it's a simpler way to get disabled kids to at least be able to read – compared to not reading at all if you try to teach them the more difficult way that normal kids learn) But you basically have to invest millions of dollars from birth through age 21 in EXTRA instruction just to MAYBE get him to be able to read 1 grade level higher. And if he's low functioning like Shawn is, he may not be able to read at all. We all know that shawn couldn't read when he aged out of high schools, because that is the reason he did not get a high school diploma. Shawn's mom goes on and on about how amazing inclusion is for DS kids – but she forced the school to put Shawn in normal classes and he left high school without a diploma and without being able to read. And what is the point of all this wasted money? The reality is that NO ONE will hire people with DS. It's not because they are monsters who are bigots, its because they have a business to run and need people who can do the job. But America refuses to admit reality, so they are now trying to PAY businesses to hire DS people AND pay for the "job coach" as well, who will actually do the job for the DS person, to make sure things don't get messed up, etc. But at that point, what is the purpose of hiring someone with DS? In europe they are realistic – less than 1% of DS people have any sort of job at all.

  2. I’ve never gotten updated on any of the seasons on this show and had to watch them later than the aired dates. And since this big gap between last season is wider than the rest, I’m not surprised it’s ended. I wished Rocky had gotten more screen time he was cute.
