They doing wonderful with This program. I want more places like this around the world .
Some. People. Can. Be. So. Mean. To. Call. People. The. R. Word. It. Just. Hrut. My. â¤
I'm getting tired of mentioning but special needs is the incorrect term
When your hopes are high, but your syndrome is down.
The amount of heartless people in the comments is so sad. I can't believe the amount of hate people put out. Humans can be so cruel it's so upsetting.
I'm new to this channel and I've met Rachel from Born this way last year at the Colorado Miss Amazing Pageant
They Should Do Another Born This Way With Another Group With DS Maybe In Another CityðŸ¤â€ÂThis Show And The Cast Where Phenomenal!ðŸ‘ÂÂ✨
People forget the "R" is a MEDICAL TERM. People just don't like to think about it or be reminded that they are….mentally disabled. I think in 2013 the government changed their terminology in their listing of impairments. I'm sure in 20 years people will want to ban the word "disabled". Unfortunately changing the word doesn't change the reality of their situation. It is NOT the same thing as a racial slur, despite their attempt to make it seem so. DOCTORS used the "R" word within the last few years and many still use it still today….
I got mi causing my big boy
My brother, Tim, doesn't have Down Syndrome, but he does have special needs; he lives in a 24-hour staff group home, & I'm his guardian-in-waiting (after our parents are gone). One thing that's unique about Tim is he was diagnosed as a child with ADHD and an autism spectrum disorder, but I was diagnosed as an adult (his autism is medium-functioning, & mine is high-functioning). Sometimes, I almost envy him, because no matter what, he will exceed expectations; I, conversely, look "normal," so people have "normal" expectations for me, that I can't fulfill.
I was blessed with an uncle with down syndrome who passed away a few yrs ago. And he was loved beyond words NOT for his disability but because of who he was as a person. Because of him i chose to work with kids that had down syndrome & yes it can be challenging BUT what kid isnt. And i can honestly say it is very rewarding. I get more from them than they get from me. Even when they are not being very cooperative. And if you want an honest answer believe me they will give it to you. I love & adore each & everyone of them even when they are not so fond of me.â¤
It's too bad that Jon won't admit that he's a homosexual. He could be a role model for other disabled people who are homosexuals.
Be so glad when you guys come back on,love you all.
This show is addictive. Love them all â¤ï¸ÂÂ
I really appreciate that they focused on the siblings because I was so curious during the seasons their thoughts . I’m glad they had s forum too .
I watched all the seasons. Loved the show , and every one of the kids. They're inspirational. They can achieve so much, and can be so much more self sufficient then people give them credit for. Watching them grow as a person each season has been great. They all work, many living on their own, and Christina and Angel getting married. They do contribute to society, and teach the rest of us very valuable lessons about life. They each have their own strenghs. I hope they have another season. The show is very heartwarming.
I love this show! Such a great learning experience and wondeful seeing the lives of these adults.
Awww I hope that start a new season. I love this show
Beautiful …. just beautiful
I'll just could washed it that then I'll knows I'll would
***Christina, you have the prettiest eyes and I love the way you wear your eye makeup! It's so pretty. I am 55 and I can't mine to look like that.
***Rachel, I LOVE your hair color! I saw your video the other day where you said you wanted to be the President. I really enjoyed it…and yes, you SHOULD be the President! You'd make a great one.
***And John, you're just adorable! Your smile is so bright. And dude…you can dance better than me! You got moves!
We all can learn what life's really about by watching these people and taking a page out of their books of life.
Great videoâ¤ï¸ÂÂ
WOW, nothing like putting your whole family out 'there' for the whole world to see the 'curse' that you are all under'($$$) –
hopefully, one or some of you know God's plan and His ways and what He requires of us and especially of those who
have been 'called-out' of this oh so wicked, demonic, world – we are praying for your family, and for their deliverance…
Bruh moment
