Do Smartphone Colors Matter?

   I have invented a Board Game [still unpublished and not yet out in the market] that I believe is guaranteed to be as challenging and exciting as CHESS. I called it “RUVOL.”

   It is my hope that one day Ruvol may surpass chess as the “Number One Board Game in the World.”

   The weakness of chess is it always starts in fixed positions that the opening moves become “memorizable.” In fact, not a few have so mastered the moves that they can play against their opponents “blindfolded.” It is for this very reason that the great Bobby Fischer introduced his so-called “Fischer Random Chess,” where the starting position of the pieces is “randomized” to make the memorization of openings impracticable. Fortunately, it is also for this reason that I invented Ruvol where “every game” has been calculated to be a challenging one to play.

   It is worthwhile to note that the people who play chess will be the same people who will play Ruvol. In my Google search, I learned there are around 800 million chess players in the world. Even just a small percentage of these 800 million is good enough to earn big money from Ruvol either as an ONLINE GAME BUSINESS or as a PHYSICAL PRODUCT DISTRIBUTOR.

10. I have a clear back on my Lite Purple case that matches the Twilight blue on my P20 pro. Yes the color choices are important to me. People see the casing is purple on the edge and ask why purple? I turn it around to the back, and the're like "oh, nice".

13. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ in black. Colors matters because choice in great, but I chose black because I thought it looked really nice and sleek.

19. Colors don't matter, cases do. Do we always look at the back of our phones? does it really matter? are we that conscious of what others think of us, by the wow factor they get from the backsides of the phone?

    Give me black, then I can lay whatever skin, or case I want on it, and make it my own. Color locks you in.

22. The moment you try hard to protect it with cases, colors don't really matter, but for a person who likes black like i do, it's still less interesting.

23. Black and White phone are overrated. Colors is the answer if you want to stand out.

24. I think it's because we've reached a point where all flagships are really good at everything – you don't see phones today with crappy performance or cameras. This is in general a good thing but it results in it being really difficult to choose a brand. The Pixels have the best cameras, but people won't inherently choose them, because the cameras aren't that much better than the competition. They do however have a childish, plastic-feeling (some would say downright ugly) design, whereas the S9 is a negligible downgrade in camera with a far better design. So there's more differentiation in design – but now all phones are becoming glass/metal sandwiches, from iPhone to Samsung to LG to Huawei to HTC to Oneplus to Sony… Which means the only clear difference you can have now is color. This is a great opportunity for lesser-known brands like the latter four to funnel disproportionate resources into color, because it's quickly becoming the only point of variation.

28. Not for me. I'd get any color because I'm not losing anything. Since it's still the same phone with the same specs.
