Almost 6 months ago we thought 100,000 to 200,000 deaths were bad. but now on September 18 at 202,000 deaths it is predicted that covid in the us could hit 410,000 at the rate it is growing also including if the fall wave is several times bigger, and worse case scenario it could be between 650,000 to 873,000 deaths by January 1st

20. Looking at this in mid September 2020, I’m struck at how absolutely wrong they were. The USA is still far from a peak and the deaths, now atover 200,000 souls is showing no where near to be anywhere close to being over anytime soon. What happened in Italy was the country went into lock down. Good luck getting Americans to adhere to a lock down. They can’t even respect other country’s lockdowns.
