The new normal: how keep clean while handling groceries, deliveries and tech

4. I don't do take out, high-risk husband at home. Groceries get lysol'd before they enter the house. If cardboard, they stay in the car for a couple of days.
   I thought soap and water killed it. Wouldn't normal washing with soap kill it or is there something you aren't telling us? I thought bleach, lysol, alcohol etc. was for when you couldn't wash?

7. Always take your cloths off when out in public immediately and wash them. Don’t touch door knobs before disinfectant
   Disinfect all groceries before putting away. And that’s after you can set in room for at least 4 days. Unlesss u have frozen. Then clean and put away.
   Disinfect all credit cards or anything that was touched. The bottom of your bags are contaminated as well

8. Wow. This lady giving advice is ignorantly Lieing

   Her advice on groceries is so fucking wrong. Unreal how this made the news.

9. Put your frozen stuff and ice cream in the sun it sanitizes it

Put a bucket right outside of your house pour detergent in it take a garden hose fill it with water immerse everything you buy from the grocery store inside the Bucket in the soapy water which will dissolve the virus then you take the stuff inside your house. This way you don’t contaminate the refrigerator and your countertop

13. I am a Germ Freak, and I always have sanitizer in my Car, my handbag. My house , I wash my Fruits and vegetables. Wash my cans and bottles , SANATIZING is not new to me..

    I can't believe this is new.

17. I don't eat out and when we grocery shop I sanitize everything. If it's in a box I take it out the box and in a Ziploc bag.

23. I’m so depressed.. I hate life right now.. it’s making me depressed.. I don’t want to live this way. I’m so scared to even leave my house to go grocery shopping! Why is this happening???? I don’t want to die!!!!

25. not risking takeout…I leave food cupboard items in spare room for 3 days before use, wipe down milk etc with dilute bleach solution. I leave phone at home so I don't need to clean my phone as my hands are always washed at home
