  1. I meant as in what the parts cost in general, not that they were parts from the build. I'm sure that teh VR38 connecting rods, R35 input shaft, and ring gear are worth far more than the camera.

  2. …actually, it doesn't. But I can see how you could easily make that assumption. I built that rig with spare parts we had hanging around the shop (VR38 connecting rods, R35 Input shaft, ring gear, CNC slide bearing, scrap cromoly, etc.)

    The only parts I bought were the wheels & some square cromoly tubing. Base was waterjet cut from a template I made out of cardboard. I think I spent a MAXIMUM of $280 in the project.

    We also had the handycam laying on the shelf…unused.

  3. @jshaw6600 it was free for him, they build some of the worlds fastest GTR's at their shop T1racedevelopment

  4. Siiick. I wonder how much that's worth. I'm assuming he built it for very little since he probably got the GT-R parts from a totaled GT-R.
