I am a ham operator You should get a radio very high frequency radio is nobody there if you guys have an already logged greater and better reception the other thing is put an antenna on top of the roof it doesn’t have to be big just enough that you can hear each other so many miles how are you get Two way radio that you would have to pay by month and you have no problem hearing each other
