  1. Hey so we were pretty harsh on the Moto Z3 Play but it's because we love Motorola's phones and want them to do well in the market.

What do you think of the Moto Z3 Play? Let us know!

  2. I hope Motorola release a z5 for next year and would make it available hear in the UK unlike the z4.

Also, does anyone know if the z4 verizon edition would work on UK/international GSM networks?

  3. The Z3 Play is available right now (Mar, 2 2019) from Motorola and Best Buy in the US for $349.99.  That includes the Moto Mod power pack.  That is a lot of phone for that price which is unlocked, all four US carriers and a near pure Android phone.  The sale is ending today, but sometimes they extend them.

  4. This will probably die of. I have a Moto z2 play I love it………….in years to come apple will do the same idea and market it as a new innovation by them, and it probably will do well because it's apple. Just a shame about Motorola I still love their phones

  5. I don't understand, why did other phone makers not learn from the iPhone backlash of no Aux port? That decision just needs end in a firing?

  6. I've had the phone for several months now and very happy with it. The fingerprint sensor registers multiple prints, making it unlock easily when I pick up the phone with either hand. I also have small hands and a partially amputated index finger, even I can handle this phone with ease. I am hoping for better projector in the near future since for the same price of said moto-mod, you can probably buy a decent portable pico projector with better quality. It needs to be priced competatively to suceed.

  7. He failed to mention that the unlocked version works on all US carriers both CDMA and GSM…not many phones can do that. And that is a reason alone to get it, you can go to any carrier.

  8. Oh c'mon, they put a finger print sensor and a power button on the sides? Sony did it first and better…😪

  9. Am I the only one whose Z2 gestures are incredibly inconsistent? I love the idea of the gestures, but they very rarely actually work, so I never use them. Maybe I just got a bad phone, and hopefully the next generation have improved.

  10. Wish they'd made the screen on the Z2 larger, but I'm okay with my 5.5" screen. Gonna pass on this one, don't like the changes other than the screen being larger. Like glass on the back (Still GG3🤦‍♂️), fingerprint sensor on the side, power button on the left side, stupid dual camera just for portrait photos, no headphone jack, it's .75mm thicker, only has a SD636, and is only available on Sprint and US Cellular. Don't think it'd work on AT&T, not sure. Regardless, I'll pass, which is a shame, cuz I Love Motorolas and Love my Z2 Play especially (though it's getting a bit long in the teeth already, and waiting forever for the Oreo update from Verizon really sucks) Now I wish I'd gotten the X4, it got updated to 8.1 months ago 🙄 Gonna hafta look to another company's lineup for a new upper-midrange phone this year I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
