The record is settled, Larry Larson set out with his new CRAZY twin turbo 10.1L powered S-10 with one goal… to prove a point. Rather than bringing his 1966 Chevy Nova (his definition of the limit of a street car) he played juuuuust within the Hot Rod rules to see just how nutty a street driven / proven car (truck) could be, competing in, and completing the 1000+ mile journey that is Drag Week.

By the way Weld Racing Wheels Manufacturing Company has made a new racing wheels some few years ago and they were tested in this pickup truck and when company saw the clock timer they named the wheels exactly that time the this pickup did clocked, the 616 Model Racing Wheels by Weld Racing.
Street cars must had tread on the tires. You cant legally drive this thing on the roads like that so you better not call it a street car.

The real street outlaw! The tea king 🤴 of the streets right here! Him and Jeff Lutz have always been my favorite even before it became popular I watched these guys and kept up with them. Always liked the street cars better then the custom built track weapons. I had a cousin in Detroit who ran pro 5.0 back in the 90’s that’s when I learned who these guys where. My cousins 5.0 ran 9’s in the late 80’s early 90’s on DOT drag radials. Drove it to and from Detroit drag way to Tailor Michigan to run it every weekend. He did convert it to a stick shift after he stopped running pro 5.0.
