  1. Had it happen to me back in highschool. Those eagle claw laser sharpened hooks. My father cut a bunch of the hook off at the end of it so it didnt get snagged on anything, we hopped in the car and went to hospital. I blacked out when they were pulling it out. My father has the video of it somewhere.

  2. Nope push it through then cut the barb off wrap it up in electric tape and keep fishing.
I honestly don't understand why these types of people even try this I mean if he caught a fish would he even know how to remove the hook?

  3. When I was 5 maybe 6 I tried fishing I got s hook in my hand or arm and I took it better then this guy

  4. Count to three and pull it out, our you gotta poke it out remove the barb and remove it.. Kids a little whimpy lol

  5. This happened to me yesterday. It got stuck in my right knee. Went to the ER because I'm a punk 😂 I feel so silly now but it was scary at the moment.

  6. I’m only watching this because I just hooked my finger on a hook. Not as bad as this but it still hurts like a bish

  7. I’ve had this it sucks but I didn’t pass out

  8. depending on how it’s stuck in him, you can either pop it out with braid or you can push it all the way through, clip the barb off and it’ll slide all the way out.

  9. A couple years ago I got stuck with a hook when fishing over my granddads and I just ripped it out and it took a pretty big chunk out of my finger. still got a scar going from my finger nail and down almost an inch

  10. I caught a roughly 3-4 pound SM Bass on a swim bait and as I was trying to unhook it, the fish flopped and one of the hooks went into the back of my hand with the fish still attached and flopping around. The first two things I thought of on the fly was to rip out the hook quick and fast, or kill the fish so it stops tearing up my hand and think of the best way to remove the hook. Without thinking too long I grabbed my pliers and grabbed the hook and pulled as hard and fast as I could and felt instant relief, the hook came out with no skin or meat just a bit of blood. It only hurt when the fish moved but as soon as I pulled it out I was fine and even kept fishing the entire day. Long story short me and the fish lived to tell the tale without fainting or going to the hospital and I am still good to this day lol 😆

  11. It sucks that the bill will be so large but I would have made the same choice. Sometimes an injury can take someone off guard. Usually I can withstand injuries but one time my bunny bit my inner elbow, I had a panic attack, became nauseous and passed out. Don’t judge others, it caught him off guard.

  12. I was on a fishing boat and a kid swung his rod and got my right in my shoulder and not a small hook this was a huge catfish hook

  13. As a guy who has had Atleast 10 hooks in me (21 years old), I promise you, as soon as you get hooked, identify whether or not you can push it through and cut the barb, or snatch it out. The faster the better. Unless of course it’s near any veins or in a sketchy spot. The initial adrenaline rush will mask the pain I promise. I also am one of those people who gets light headed from enough pain but it’s just one of them things 😂😂

  14. I went fishing and caught a turtle it was my first time fishing and I was trying to feed the turtle the bait and my uncle cut the line without taking the hook out then I had to go home and I hope the turtle is okay it was bleeding :(((

  15. This happened to me when I was about 6 years old The Fish Hook got stuck in my middle finger and my grandma just cut through the fish hook and said the rest of it would work its way out but no it worked its way in it's still in my finger to this day
