  1. Kept our little country going no matter what!!!!

England forever and Britain and the queen for ever

And DO NOT EVER call dame Vera “lynn” again use her title correctly

  2. My Grandpa Fought in WW2, he died 5 Years Ago. I've been Interested in WW2 for Years and Through that I Discovered the Music of Vera Lynn,. I Know I'll Miss her Dearly, she was a True Inspiration.

  3. We'll Meet Again is the song that plays at the end of Stanley Kubrick's black comedy Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. That's how I learned of Vera Lynn. I'm sure Kubrick meant no harm as it is juxtaposed against the likelihood of nuclear war and is a coda to the world that my parents knew in their youth.

  4. She will be missed she was doing so well, but I knew her time would come eventually RIP🥺

  5. She won’t be meeting again 😂😂

  6. A statue of this national treasure please to replace one of the toppled in the UK! Would make a change to have a female statue too.

  7. Crying so hard right now. She is so iconic!😭 She is a legend and always will be. Calmed so many in such a harsh time. Rest in peace,Vera Lynn, rest in peace💔

  8. Fond memories for many of us. Both my parents survived WW 2 in England, and I grew up listening to Vera's music. Terrific. She brought upliftment during a disastrous time.

  9. Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn? Remember how she said that we would meet again some sunny day? Vera, Vera, what has become of you? Does anybody else in here feel the way I do?
