  1. Got news for all you folks watching this………..it has been PROVEN……….this man may have the name, but he has NO relation to General Robert E. Lee, his lineage is not from THE Lee family. He's just riding a lie to get his 15 minutes.

  2. I like how people start screaming it’s a monument to the Confederacy. Robert E Lee was literally a US Marine Colonel before the war? The only thing he did was siding with his state, if he was born in the Northern States, no doubt he would’ve sided with the Union. His statue should stay, to at least honor the part where he served with the Marines as a Colonel.

  3. America deserved the Civil War because slavery was America’s national son we are so nation shouldn’t have a greed with the founding fathers to protect the molar repugnant institution of slavery for the sake of the union both sides not just the south but both sides got what they deserved in the Civil War the north deserved all the death just like the south did.

Though the founding fathers thought that slavery would end they were sadly mistaken we should’ve temporary lived as two nations then perhaps slavery would’ve ended who knows because abolitionist around the world were helping to end slavery in country start had slavery they probably would’ve made an impact on the south without any interference of the north and maybe the north and south would’ve been reunited again if they were to secede back in the late 1700s yes since the founding fathers agreed to protect slavery the northern states from the late 1700s all the way to 1860 should’ve Worked with the south and did everything they could as a whole not just a little bit of people but all Northern states should’ve continuously work with them to try to in the evil institution of slavery, instead of going slave state vs free state for the sake of the union they brought that were upon themselves just like the south did. That’s why we should keep the monuments that’s why we should keep the flag for that reason.

I don’t care if a lot of these monuments were put up because of Jim Crow. It isn’t all about how white Northerners feel and it isn’t all about how Black people feel and how liberals feel those of us that support the monuments we should have a say in it even if it means removing them we should at least have a choice where they go. I feel those facts that support these monuments our rights to display them are being infringed upon just because those who hate them want them down. I know about the myth of the List Cause, I know about them being erected directly in response to the civil rights movement of the 1930s 40s 50s and 60s and how Black people were persecuted and suffered horribly especially in the white racist south especially under the southern Democrats…
Despite the fact I don’t care why they were put up I am at the same time sorry that Black people aside from the monuments being erected for whatever reason were persecuted truly sorry that Black people suffered.

But today since all that has passed

I think it’s very selfish and unfair of them to not allow us to display them anywhere when they are very successful they have equal rights they have jobs just like any other white person and just like any one else they have good homes they have good cars they have plenty of food and all of them are poor a lot of Black people are more successful than white people I don’t wanna hear that nonsense of white privilege and “wokeism.” and all this other nonsense sorry that Black people were persecuted but we should at least have a say where they’re relocated. I think that’s a fair compromise I don’t agree that they should go to museums

: while it isn’t all just about how I think and how I feel anymore than it is about those who want them down feel, as Americans we need to put our differences aside. Therefore unless the museums are the ONLY way that they’ll be protected I say that they should go to Battlefield cemeteries military Park’s private lands end on peoples front lawns Who may want them. Not all of them should be confined to museums and in private storage but they definitely should not be destroyed…

  4. Robert E Lee was former union army. Graduated from West point, and faught for the United States beside Grant in the US Mexican war. In that war he was commended by George Washington. He also married George Washingtons granddaughter and freed the slaves he inherited a couple years before the civil war even started…This man still has more true American running through his cold dead rotten right nut than 99% of our elected officials today.

  5. that descendant should be ashamed of themself for tearing down the statue of a man who only fought against the Union because he loved his State above anything else. deplorable that anyone would ever vandalize or destroy one of these statues

  6. I under stand why people will hate him.
But that does not give no one the right to take down these statues
It’s history. And you want to get rid of it
We have to face facts that the usa has done some bad things in it’s time
    But still

  7. Wow, what a man! May his kind and brave heart helps improving the long lasted legacy of Lee's treason, directly accounting for bloodshed of millions, and indirectly for several generation of hatred.

  8. Robert Edward Lee (January 19, 1807 – October 12, 1870) was an American Confederate general best known as a commander of the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. He commanded the Army of Northern Virginia from 1862 until its surrender in 1865 and earned a reputation as a skilled tactician.

  9. I think unless it is one of the founding fathers monuments or a monument to our military, get ride of it. No matter who it is or what it stands for. I am as pro southern as it gets but when General Lee himself did not want and spoke against monuments of himself and others we should honour his wish. He’s been gone a long time and it’s time his wish be fulfilled.

  10. History is so offensive😥😥😥😥😥😥

  11. You can commemorate the man but not the war. In a respectful manner Lee as a man needs to be remember for his character and the way he conducted himself

  12. Another racist democrat removed……well it’s a start. Now let’s remove the rest of the democrats.

  13. How was Robert E Lee a traitor to the United States of America 🇺🇸 if Virgina suceced from the Union

  14. It’s sad he doesn’t even know his family roots. Lee would be disappointed he was never a racist he never even joined the war cuz of racism he joined the war to defend Virginia

  15. Our country had a bitter Civil War, one side lost, one side won. A lot of people died, they put up statues to commemorate them. That's it. Silly to take them down.

  16. Robert E Lee should never be forgotten. He was an Amazing General ranking amongst Alexander the Great and Napoleon. Robert E Lee disagreed with the southern cause of secession but he fought for the south because he was a proud Virginian and fought for his homeland. It’s disgraceful too start tearing down our history before even learning it.

  17. YALL the the gourvement is broken they HAVE TO VOTE on it. they did vote but not enough to remove it. Now they are doing it illegal. YALL NEED A HISTORY LESSON THE CIVIL WAR FOUGHT OVER THE POWER OF THE GOURVEMENT!!!!!

  18. The Robert E. Lee may have said this I disagree with his statues coming down this is a ploy by leftist and liberals to take over the United States because they’re not just gonna stop with Confederate monuments they’re going to go after monuments throughout the United States in fact they have done it when Trump is out of office they will go over trumps executive order and continue tearing down more monuments doesn’t matter if they’re considered or not. These socialist Marxist progressives and radical leftists have rewritten history they have joined with the Democrats who originally put up these Confederate monuments. The Democrats by the way not the citizens of the south (although they agreed and went along with it) are the ones who wrote the myth of the lost cause. And the Democrats are also the ones that put up more monuments in a more direct way to show their support for Jim Crow segregation. Even if these monuments have to be removed I think they shouldn’t all go into a museum they should go to Butterfields cemeteries military parks private parks and on private lands and even on peoples front lawns.
The point I’m making is those of us that support them , are within our constitutional rights to have some say about this issue. It’s not fair that our voices are not being heard. The only reason however that were being outvoted in this manner is through Lies. The same people who made up the myth of the lost cause. Are the same people who have joined forces with the Marxist socialist communist and radical leftists to undermine our nations history as well as our whole nation-period, because these people want to be like kings they want power they want to control they want everyone under their iron grip. These people believe in big government to the point where they have lied and deceived the people in the United States by saying our history is evil horrible corrupt bigoted and racist. By the way it was the Democrats who were proslavery who fought against the anti-slavery republican party over the issue of slavery. It was the Democrats that committed treason against the United States. The Soldiers and citizens of the north and south. We’re fighting because they believe either the United States should have a strong sovereign national government and was indivisible (The north fought for that) or that the United States was a dissolvable confederation of sovereign states (The South fought for that ). James McPherson a Civil War historian points out there were two fundamental questions that were answered. The proximate cause was over the issue of secession just like I mentioned above but the ultimate cause was slavery whether or not America was going to be the largest slaveholding nation in the world, even though it claim to be the nation living under the banner, “ all men are created equal.” Both of these issues were fundamental but slavery was more fundamental. The war was not 100% all only in just about slavery despite the fact slavery was the central cause of the Civil War.
Yes these monuments like I tried to mention before were put up during the time of Jim Crowe but I say we dedicate them to buy the south fought in the Civil War. God use the word to change the United States if we didn’t in fact protect slavery and temporarily let the south go back in the late 1700s (I think it was the late 1780s maybe 1788 1789?) they would have temporarily stayed out of the union because slavery would’ve diminished most likely. It’s a possibility. But slavery was our national San NSA resort the working. The north and the central government, which was weak, was just as responsible as the Democrats and the citizens of the south, over the issue of slavery. And slavery and segregation would’ve lasted much longer if there was no war. Those slavery if the southern state state in the union would’ve gradually ended peacefully, it would merely end peacefully for white people while Black people would be in misery. Black people even to this day however would probably still have the rights restricted. Therefore Black people would really to be very fair have a very good reason to hate the United States. This is why we should keep Confederate monuments.

  19. Lee never wanted a statue but he will be remembered as a respectful general in the books and as a confederate who didn’t agree to slavery.
