4. I really enjoyed this video. I respect how Joe is self deprecating and has a great sense of humor about his old videos. I really liked the reaction video and would like to see more. I think he gives an honest/sincere critique of his old material and I think it's super respectful. Great video, Joe. 👍

Seeing this video brought back some memories, a few years before this video was uploaded I was in high school and part of an automotive collision repair course that allowed me to graduate high school with a trade certification and some sketchy things happened in that class that probably shouldn't have, one day I went into our tool room and there was this kid who was 15 using a similar homemade tattoo machine to tattoo an eye on his ankle, I don't know what he was using as ink but I hope it wasn't automotive paint. Freshman year one of my buddies aspired to be a tattoo artist cause he watched shows like LA Ink, now this guy couldn't draw worth shit but that didn't stop him, one day he came in to show off a really shitty skull he did with a thumbtack at his house, a few weeks later he learned to make a tattoo machine from an electric toothbrush and redid part of the skull with it, by the time we graduated he had upgraded to a proper machine but did not upgrade his drawing skills at all.
