No amount of money can replace the time this man missed with his family. Someone took a majority of his life away; if anyone fabricated anything or lied to get the guilty verdict they should be charged with a felony.

What a wonderful story! It's terrible Mr. Pacheco went to prison and his friend died, but I'm so happy for him and his family he was able to prove his innocence. All the best to this family!

This man needs to be compensated for the lost years. Why did it take so long to find out he was innocent? Why didn't they review this evidence before? Just because they freed him doesn't mean they should now just sweep it under the rug. They should've done right the first time. Could've saved him 25 years!

The biggest joke in prison is….every man in there is innocent. I wonder now how much truth is in that statement.
The judicial system, the scumbag DA etc. People are so eager to convict someone, and when it's an innocent person convicted that's worse than a guilty person out free. To be robbed of your most precious thing; your precious time & freedom that you can never get back is one of the worst crimes of all. Next time scumbag armchair internet warriors convict someone in their mind just from a video or a twitter/facebook post they should think about this man and the many like him that have around the world had this same plight. Never rush to judgment just because they don't fit your idea of what a person should be; that doesn't make them guilty of a crime. Sadly right now someone is getting convicted of a crime they didn't commit that a news report will air decades from now of their conviction overturned. Think about that!
