24. I saw a local mayor on tv the other night. He was talking about not making a mountain out of a molehill. He was comparing COVID 19 to the flu. Then, he let his truth out, he said the word economy.

    I thought we stopped comparing the flu to COVID when it kept spreading in the warm weather. I thought we stopped when the death toll passed that of the flu. I know there was a social media shift. First they highlighted the low numbers of COVID deaths in comparison to the flu. When COVID passed the flu, they inflated flu number to keep the narrative going. Then they shifted to the freedom and oppression argument. This mayor was still back at the flu stage of denial.

25. I feel so bad about Arizona and they are in my prayers with 1 out of 4 people confirmed with the virus. I live in the next hot spot in Florida where 1 out of 6 have it and we are in the same boat here. With existing conditions, it is a major concern and my wife being a nurse working with patients I fear it will be carried to the family while killing me with the children as a factor. All I can say is prayers are with everyone in America. We have a lot of deaths coming it as it goes state to state targeting certain hot spots first before the big boom sort of speak unless medical science can start handling this somehow in their research.

Lots of people in Arizona aren't taking this seriously enough, there are parties in my apartment complex every. single. weekend. and yes a lot of people are wearing their masks but a gross majority aren't and there's no shortage of answers the Mesa population could give you as to why we are such a big hotspot. The mixed signals we receive from our government officials and "leaders" don't help at all, looking at you Doug Ducey, and the lack of action across the board is atrocious.
