    You keep telling your kids these things and they won't learn to accept failure. They will realize that everything you have told them is a lie, and the only way they can be all those things is if they take responsibility for themselves and aspire to meet those standards. THAT is what you should be teaching your kids; to be good people and once they have shown themselves to be that kind of person THEN you can praise them. The worst thing you can do a child mentally is lie to them.
