Skagen Falster 2 Hands-on: The best new Wear OS watch?

1. I hear that these fall apart a lot, is that true?

3. I've been looking at this watch for a couple of years. imgs.love/SkagenSundby?a It was on a lightning sale right before Christmas, so I bought it as a present for myself. It's so light, I sometimes look to make sure it's still on, but the strap is very secure and it's never opened on it's own. It's also very thin, so it never catches on my shirt cuff the way others sometimes do. I get a lot of compliments when people see it. It goes well with casual clothes, but also looks nice with business attire. I don't regret buying it at all.

5. 9 months in and I think only fossil has the new chip, and still doesn't pales in comparison to the gear s4

6. I like Huawei Watch 2 Classic (which has GPay)

7. To me the brightness are quite dime as compare to galaxy watch active but this watch are minimalistic design both are good.

8. I bought one of these. Four days later I was crossing the street and reached back to take off my backpack. The watch's magnetic strap brushed against my backpack, came undone (only a magnet holds it on), and the watch dropped to the street. The watch has a fragile crystal and busted. The official Fossil repair shop wanted to charge me as much as a new watch to fix it; it was a total loss. It's a stupid strap design and fragile watch just waiting to get brushed against something and break. The battery charge duration was also extremely short.

9. please suggest me a wear os watch, that has .. compass, altimeter , gmaps , navigation, notifications.

12. Too short and very light on detail. Pretty much a waste of time

18. In my opinion, it's the best android smartwatch design. But the old cpu makes it a hard no.

19. BEAUTIFUL HARDWARE. Possibly the best in smart watches. why did they release it before the new chip?? Dead in the water 🙁

20. Ok that’s probably the nicest non Apple Watch so far. Too bad about the outdated processor.

    Gave up on it every reboot Google neglect it all over again.

22. The watch looks ok but it pales in comoarison to prety mutch every seiko under 300 dollars

23. The series 4 is amazing. It’s better than my gear s3 in basically every way. My only problem with it is that it doesn’t do sleep tracking. But other than that, it’s the best smartwatch. At least in my opinion.

25. Hate that these companies are pretending to have eliminated the flat tire of the Moto360, but they really just inset the active screen within the face to avoid the light sensor. Makes it look like there's a ridiculously thick bezel when the face is lit up. I'd rather just have the edge to edge experience. Since Lenovo trashed the Moto, can someone else please do this right?

26. i tried android wear 2.0 on the tickwatch a few mon ths back…hated it…constantly losing connection, late or non existant notifications of calls or messages resulting in alot of missed calls/messages and the worst battery life i ever seen…went back to my pebble time with rebbel now running it…works flawless and i get promp notification and everythign works great…and i only have to charge once every weekend IF that…

27. just buy a tic watch e, save your self a 100$ and u can buy what ever band you want with the spare cash and more.

30. They shouldn't produce any, just have this as a demo for what it'll look like, and release it later in the year or early next year with the new Qualcomm chip inside to future proof it. I see this going down in price really quickly due to lack of sales, looks lovely though

31. Would have easily overtaken the TicWatch Pro and LG Watch Sport as the best smartwatch but it sadly matches those with SDW2100

33. It's a very good-looking watch. Their timing sucks. Should have waited for the 3100 SoC. Guess I'll wait for the Falster 3.

36. When I want a smartwatch I don't want something that looks like an actual watch that's where Apple stands out

    Is a slightly outdated processor such a big problem? I heard that new one is almost the same. I don't expect big difference in battery life. Smartphones are getting new chips but screen on time battery life is always the same highest is 5 hours average is 3-5h

41. New Android user here.. I agree with all that I've read about a new snapdragon chip about to be released im confused why so many companies decided to make new watches without the new chip.. I'm excited to see what the fall season has. Hopefully someone makes a watch as beautiful as this one!
