Greg Hurbut, co-owner of Kentucky Derby entrant Necker Island and a rare Black racehorse owner, responds to calls to boycott the race in protest of the predominantly white sport.

Why would an African American horse owner pull his horse out of the derby to protest breona taylers death? Like that doesn't make since I thought they were sposed to be supporting African Americans not trying to get them to loose very good opportunities
Old Kentucky is a great song. Should not be changed.
I guess the NBA is not inclusive to whites! Boycott!
Protestors. You mean rioters.
Briana Taylor has nothing to do this race.
Omg does evening have to about race! Sorry black folks. Can't we just concentrate on the horses!
There’s nothing special about him or that ugly ass horse. He look like a ugly ass horse. Something about him I just don’t like
Cancel the Kentucky Derby??? F off!!!
Belarusian dictator Lukashenka, released from prisons and armed criminals to beat protesters in the streets of Minsk! https://youtu.be/_yzIb17mDho
Taylor was a drug dealer

I think you guys will support meðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂ
The Kentucky Derby is prodermantely a white sport—– go cheer on your fans and shoot some hoops. Ahhhhh
Um…no.
Mr. Harbut is a winner any day! He held his head high, did his job, and his team beat 1/2 of the field in the greatest horse race in the country (arguably in the world!), going off with odds of 50 to 1! Was not swayed by politics and set an example for all to follow. He let a horse race simply be a horse race and left politics for the appropriate arena. Set an example for all to follow. He didn't even need to win the race to win the argument, we are all in it together, we all matter equally. He ran a clean race and finished! Class all the way.
probably same reason why black wall street was burned to the ground…you can make money but if you make more than me, i have to ……. you. go USA?
346:495……………..what does it mean? so many racists????
However, at this time it seems you should at least make a statement about the Africans born in America on your history. Right now Mr……
Neck horse owner you appear smug and unconcerned.I don't mean just for this.season
For.history.I thought A
A.B.A.in horses cleaned shet or maybe jockeys
Those ponies don't care what color you are. Those rich people ain't never gonna turn their backs on the PoPo. They know without them the poor would loot their homes. Rich black horse owner says publicly he supports Black Lives Matter…then slips the PoPo a couple of hundreds to watch out for his Rolls Royce while he's at the track. 😆it appears their hypocrisy knows no bounds! What a joke this all becoming!
The ABC commentators thinking………………..So blacks havent been in the horse racing industry, its mostly white…..So dont you think you should sit out and protest not many blacks being in the horse racing industry………Now how does that thinking make any sense……………She is saying there arent many blacks in it but you so maybe you should sit out and protest lack of blacks in horse racing…
All these snowflake people that keep wanting to cancel everything in America..They can pack their bags and get the hell out….
This is about the best horse not about what color the owner is. Grow up. It's about the horses not the owners .
True, reason why they used to have the practice of lawn jockey ornaments & painted them white recently the past decade or so even a few exist.
People have balls to ask this young man boycott this race. I hope he wins… His family has created a legacy on its own to the horse racing industry. God bless him and his family.
This host is trying way too hard to push a narrative
This is ridiculous. The fact that a black guy is a co owner of a horse is special IS THE POINT!
Run your horse. I wish you well. I'm saddened I can't attend the Derby this year. Good Luck EV-1
His poise, professionalism and legacy is clearly articulated in several ways here. Best of luck to Necker Island!
We are SICK of this fake racist agenda. Please grow up. Idiots
