Learn how to replace rusty leaf springs, shackles, and leaf spring mounting brackets in your truck or suv. I also show how to replace leaf spring bushings and remove the rust and undercoat the frame of your vehicle. We lift the truck in the process by using Chevy/Dodge lowering shackles which fit the Ford Ranger/Mazda B-Series trucks.

Yes rebuild those old trucks
Don't shackles flatten the leaf springs over time?
Wow. Very very good at explaining and being thorough!! Great job!!
Is it just me that i'm getting so angry with the build quality of these vehicles? Couldn't they just use this spray paint for rust protection from the factory? You spend so much money to buy a car / truck and you should demand these things to come as standard.
Great tutorial – Clean. Filmed with good light, not a lot of useless talking. A+
I would recommend pb blaster for rusty bolts
God bless you. You should have your own school facility all over the world
Wow, this was a great video, clear, concise and extremely helpful. My 97 Jeep Cherokee Sport is sagging badly, even though I have ten thumbs, I may try this repair myself.

That rubberized undercoat kills trucks. Just use fluid film or krown.
yo fam stop spraying me
Thanks Chris. The dealership is trying to charge me over $2,000 for parts and labor. It looks like I can get all the tools plus parts and deal with with the rust for a little over $400.
This makes me glad I live in Arizona
11:36…..this works to but I also found that a ball joint remover will work to without heat use a Shity socket or metal collar to go over the rubber part and just like a ball joint just use an impact and run it out
That rubberized coating is gonna give you trouble down the line….
3:27 looks like Chris' Braker bar dissapeared
