8. When I rode in the late 80's early 90's I broke cranks constantly until I went to GT 3 piece. Back then there wasn't a lot of 3 piece cranks. And the other brands broke constantly. The GT were solid aluminum instead of tube. They'd bend if I hit hard but I never broke one. He's right too cranks and neck support are vital to keep you u injured from fails. The thing that I broke most after getting those 2 under control was the upper rear bars to the rear wheel from right under seat tube. Man I broke so many until I bought a Kuwahara Magician. That was the best frame I had. Second waas a Schwinn Predator. I had Dyno Comps for years and got 6 months before a break. Miss riding. Tried to get my kids into it but they passed.
