What is the age difference with her husband? Her child like personality might be from giving up her youth to marry a grown man.
This episode was hard to watch. Unlike the rest that I’ve watched so far, she seemed so sweet and was crushed by a dream
I feel like there were several occasions that she was laughed at and mistreated. Watched all the other episodes and no one else ( even with their poo filled toilets and rats) were treated like her. I truly feel like you were flippant and dishonest with her. Do better…
yes the house is beautiful but I watched the show n she was very frustrating!!!
What a sweet adorable woman. I just wanted to jump in the TV & hug her when she had her breakdown in the backyard about being left behind without her deceased husband. Her mom was hurt & upset seeing her daughter losing it but she told the truth… Julius is gone & never coming back. Plus she already she admitted she never liked him lol. Cory & the doc were so kind & patient with her. I think this was the 1st time I've seen Cory be this patient with someone. It was really incredible because I can't imagine how frustrating it is. But who could be mad at her? She's too sweet. I really hope her family friends & the community there can help her with the rest of the house
What a dear family.
I didn't like how they forced her to seel her stuff under value. As someone that does scrap, and vintage cars. They were hugely underbidding and then acted like it was her sickness for not accepting a crappy price. She is sick but the sharks were definitely circling at her illness
At least I don't have a SAILBOAT in my backyard
I do hope she achieves the goal of letting go, as I have a hard time letting go of stuff as well.
Mental illness and anxiety are very tough to live with, and to overcome. With help, it can be done!
i wished they would continue on clearing all the garbage out her house, that house is beautiful even the whole property so much potential.
Ms. Althia's story broke my heart. Her and husband had big dreams for their future home but he left her behind and she wasn't able to carry the dream forward without him. But hopefully after this clean out she will be able to make their dream come true with the help of family and friends. Much ⤠& Respect for you Ms. Althia!! Please do a future update on this beautiful woman💋💋. But I understand if she need to let this dream of finishing this home go. I would personally have to sell it and get away if it was overwhelming me that much.
I hope I look like I'm 35 when I'm 72 like that lady.
Off to a great start looks so nice the living rooms 🙂
AT first in the backyard, her face was like…ahhh..but as soon as she gets inside… the genuine happiness was so obvious.
A very beautiful house
She has a beautiful house!
What a beautiful home!
I want to know where ist the sweet ice bear??? Why he is not on the Sofa???
If there was no Teddy bear in my room i must ðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂ
I think she will continue making a home and decluttering. Hopefully her family helped her and is making progress!! She was so adorbable & grateful!! Update this one Hoarders!!!
Holy molly! I never thought the house was beautiful, oh my Lord Jesus!
It’s really sad this home can’t be fully appreciated. So many can barely afford a roof over their head.
Athia must be a successful person having to own such big house while she is young…but how can this beautiful lady let useless stuff filled her house…
That’s a beautiful home. Even has her name on it literally. Lol.
What a beautiful home!
Oh
Omg. Her house is really pretty. She is so appreciative.
girl home
What a stunning house 4 of us live in a 2 bedroom flat (UK) no garden when I see these houses being used as trash can it breaks a bit more off my heart.
I never seen someone so grateful and happy. What a sweetie.
Althia must have been stunning when she was young. She's still beautiful now!!
Wow, how bright her FACE looks now! Removing her stuff took 30 years off of her face!
She had some wonderful things that she wasn't appreciating. We must not be so wasteful.
Im sorry but this house is WAY too big for one old hoarding lady, God bless her heart!!
Best Response Ever from a Hoarder seeing the new results. 😊â¤
Cory is an angel!
What a wonderful woman, thank you guys for helping her!
Cory Chalmers tho!
I think he might just be the best thing ever.
I think that other Benz are classics
It's not often that you see hoarders as appreciative as she is about such a huge change. It can be hard to left things go, but it's beautiful to see someone embrace the opportunity to start a new journey!
She’s too cute with her beekeeping hat on and her big smile. 🌸
thats a lot of stuff……
I know it's probably linked with the hoarding disorder, but I can't understand why people would "buy things to sell"… You're not a business, don't spend money in things you don't need/want for yourself and might not get sold :/
Cute lady though, and the family/friends too 😀
looks beautiful
should do a follow up episode, one year after the clean up….
I think sometimes, even though reluctant, just a helping hand can jump start a whole new way of thinking 😉
