The P1457 code indicates a small leak in the evaporative emissions system of your vehicle. In this video I explain how the system works, how to diagnose the problem, and also how to fix it. The vehicle used in the video is a 2005 Honda Civic with a 1.7L engine, but the procedures in this video will work for just about any evaporative emissions system.
