  1. What 350z is best to buy reliability wise and upgrade wise without spending huge money because I hear different stories from different people and just want your opinion

  2. I believe the welds are holding the ring gear to the flywheel. Ring gear is outside and the starter engages it to start the engine. And slamming the cat on the floor just smashed tthe 02 sensor Matt said take care of. Lol
    By the way don't just throww catalytic converter away. They have valuable material inside that the scrap yards will pay extra for and the foreign cars seem to get more money.

  3. If you decide to upgrade any part of the clutch system whether thats lines or anything. Upgrade to Zspeed Metal slave cylinder. I wemt through so many slaves due to upgraded clutch kit and lines

  6. The Welded flywheel will likely be a previous owner "converting" a dual mass flywheel to single mass to fix a vibration. Get rid of it for sure.

  7. Matt was tightening it with the slide hammer… Get a portable Oxy Acetylene Torch. You can get one at Home Depot. That bolt would have came right off with a little heat.

  8. Had two Z's that was dubbed the demon bolt on the 370s. It's best to get 1/2 extensions long enough with a 6 pt socket and get it from the top, with a long breaker bar.

  9. Those welds are for the other ring, some times the other ring comes loose and wont start the car as the other ring is pressed to the flywheel
