  1. Brand new clothes and $1000s of dollars in shoes speakers plus newer car… I wonder why he's homeless, live within your means and you will have more options, everyone trying to present a false image, be yourself let people judge you because at the end of the day you still have yourself and a better future. Think smart dont be stupid

  2. About time! Great decision Los Angeles. 👏🏾 More affordable housing, jobs, and community programs, not new jaild and prisons. Now, something need to be done to raise the pay for those in Los Angeles County that don't make enough to afford the cost of living in that area.

  4. Look blacks are so equal now that they have their own little area to stay in… where have I heard of this before?

  5. They need progress like this in California , new York where a one bedroom apartment is like 2 grand a month that why everybody leaving you have to work 2 jobs and have a paper route just to pay rent i believe you can survive anywhere in the united states but California and new york is not for the average working person trying to achieve the american dream of home ownership

  6. I don't know if this will work. Aren't you creating another project? Concentrating one kind of people in one place?

  7. 232 units? $57 million on housing alone?? Those appear to be 40’ connexs’ split in 2 so 8’x20’ roughly, if that’s the case they’re spending nearly $500,000 on each housing unit!? No wonder people are upset that’s true govt spending with their eyes wide closed! Folks these sell for nickels n dimes used. I mean $2,000. Say a new one is $50,000, how u gona put $450,000 in windows doors elec plumbing carpet inside 8’x20’? $3,071/sq.foot

  8. It really disgustes Me, how judgmental People, can be🤬
We never know what a Person's story is. Instead of opening up Our filthy hateful mouths to judge each other's life's experiences, let's open Our mouths to pray for one another sometimes 🤦
We take so much for granted, so how shameful and despicable is someone to take from this video, an opportunity to pass judgement, instead of, being thankful for the things You do have INSTEAD OF BEING MAD AT SOMEONE ELSE FOR WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE😒🤔

  9. Poor baby living in a car.

I wonder what having a car is like. I tried to buy one with my whiteness but they told me I should have already had one.

  10. well I'll say this the black community as a whole in California is forgotten about we r not wanted illegal immigration, tourism ,racism rich n wealthy run California I'm from the south LA watts Compton area of southern California we r forgotten n not wanted

  11. That opening has to be sarcasm right? Subs, Nikes, a fedora, the vehicle… Wonder what his phone plan costs. Most well off "homeless" person I've ever seen. Live within your means, prioritize, and don't be so entitled.

  12. Sure these guys can downgrade on their car or sell off some of their things. But then what???? Pay one month of rent?? Then what?? Be right back out on the street.
They can sell off their belongings. Sure… But no decent clothes for job interviews.

So they're f••ked either way, huh? Smh

People don't understand the ugly cycle some of these people face. They've done their time. They've paid their debt to society for the crime they've committed. However, it's not that easy. It's not even that easy to get a job to begin with.

    Keep an open mind…..

  13. They should drug test every one that needs help. Tell this guy sell his shoes and down grade his car he can afford a place to live. Wow he has better stuff then me. And he has custom stereo equipment too. Wow this what america is comming to.

  14. It's a good thing they didn't decide on a prison….lapd is so incompetent they can't even enforce laws so It would be useless, nope all they need is gas money to continue to drive past active crimes while they occur.
Did y'all notice nyc always catches the criminals even if it's later….look at los angeles' crime solve rate- a prison isn't necessary!!!

  15. Maybe if you didn’t have $5000 worth of sneakers and a brand new car – you could afford an apartment?

  16. That’s a way nicer vehicle than I have, but I have a home. I’d say time to ditch the expensive vehicle, so you can afford a home….but that’s just directed towards first guy. This is definitely needed for the needful though.
