ASUS’s innovated handset (that can turn into a tablet) is pitted against the notorious phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. While the Note 2 doesn’t have a tablet face to call home, we compare the specs of the handsets themselves.

Can be. Use with at&t and t-mobile 4g LTE and HSPA+
padfone infinity is the best man, i own it and I was expecting a low batt life, to my shock, its batt life lasts more than 10hours no prob for medium to heavy usage. I was wondering if its because the batt is non removable, hence enhancing its batt life..
Can it be used with h2o wireless in da US and if so edge , 3g ,4g ???
Wow..!!!! No OF'Ns my man but im curious to know the answer to this question. Do you really Eat – Sleep Adroid ?
I'm thinking about upgrading from my Samsung Galaxy Note ( the 1st one) to this Padfone Infinity with the tab. But I wonder if while the phone is docked to the Tablet can you still accept calls and make calls? 2 Reviews later, and no one has covered that info.
Odd, I'm still using my Samsung Galaxy Note the first one and I use the S pen all the time. Never have I worried about losing it.
AirAsia???
I own a Note 2 (bought it the day of release on ATT) and would definitely prefer the Padfone. The build quality on the Note is cheap and it not only looks but feels cheap especially after having it for a few months. The S Pen is nice but after a while it just becomes a pain trying to keep it from not falling out of the phone. It's got good Rom support, but a lot of them are just bad and the good ones limit S Pen functionality. Also I have big hands, but it's still a tad too big. PFi or GNex5=win
idk about that palm swipe, but the lg optimus g pro obviously crushes the note 2 in specs and better multitasking. look it up.
Does it have a removable battery, stylus, cool features like palm swipe to take a screen shot, direct call, have the ability to turn off noise cancellation, etc..?
lg optimus g pro

Basically the device is both, a phone and a tablet. When the phone is docked the device doesn't differ a bit from the regular tablets, so it's then a tablet. U can twist and bend the consept as much as u can in ur mind yet u can't change the reality.
I don't know about asia, but asus marketin very bad in europe. They didn't release padfone infinity yet, and updates worst. They just started to sell padfone 2 lol…
Note 2 is without a doubt the most awesome phone to date. Some of the newer phones may have a faster processor, slightly better screen or camera. But for overall well-roundedness and most capability, there is but one. It does everything I need and does it well, taking the place of a multitude of devices I no longer have to carry. There is nothing out there from any company that can do so much with one device. That is of course until the Note III drops!
Only the phone would be great, but with the dock/tablet, no chance!
I have a 33,000mAh portable charger that fits in my pocket, the battery size means nothing to me.
Although in all honesty I highly dounbt 1080p is THAT much better than 720p, but its there!
Agree on the cover thing, but I thought we were comparing the phones purely on their merits and not the real world, although I totally agree about the cover.
Well, I have to admit I made that comment based on their tablet updates which are second only to Nexus if I'm not mistaken, I assumed the phones would be close behind, altho the padfone 2 is due to get 4.2 in Q2 of 2013….
Stock android >> Touchwizz
The Padfone 2 apparently has a great cam(ceck reviews)
64gig + 50 gig in cloud
1080p>720p
Build Quality, updates from asus are always fastest, stock android, blazingly fast, excellent cameram 64 gig internal, full hd screen, android 4,2
Padphone… Meh??
It does I think
I thought the note 2 had a pentile display??
yes i do agree, even though i dislike every UI (much prefer stock android) i still like having competition for Samsung, it pushes Samsung to be even better than the rest. We, the consumers are the ones to benefit.
actually LG put a lot of work into software development, like having multiple applications on the screen at once just like the note 2. Android is compatible with all displays, its the applications that have compatibility issues. It has the exact same screen size as the note 2.
even though im an android fan… that phone looks like a carbon copy of the iphone.
A more in depth review would be great
