8. Hearing all of these allegations about Cuomo — and finding out that they’re actually true — has been devastating for me. I truly looked up to Cuomo and found him to be an inspiration, especially during the pandemic. I truly believed he was a good moral role model for Americans both in principle and in practice. He’s clearly a great actor, because I truly never would have guessed he’d be one of those politicians to sexually harass women and to sacrifice the elderly during a once-in-a-century pandemic. Finding out he was a power-hungry politician who was only looking out for his own career has really dampened my spirits and I thought he was one of the better governors in this deeply flawed but still wonderful nation.
