  1. This isn't the same for the earlier tl's.. this video stopped being useful after like the second step for my 04. Regardless I gave the video a like because you've helped me with countless other things!

  2. Man I could really use your help on this one. So I changed my cabin air filter and replaced it with a K&N cabin air filter. Got in the car this morning and drove about 30 miles to work. When I parked the vehicle there was smoke coming from under the hood. It did not smell like oil or any fluids and it also was not the belt. I inspected the belt and pulleys
Could it be leaves in such being sucked into the heater

  3. Great TL videos! I’ve been enjoying doing all the work on my 06 TL. I feel like a man no matter what my wife says. 😆

  4. Yet another excellent explanation of the minor details that make the difference between leaving "back yard mechanic marks" on a clean machine and understanding just what is involved in doing it right first and not trashing the trim work.
And this is on a simple cabin air filter.
    Thanks Eric.

  5. On my 06 Honda Accord the unit where the filter sits is the same and only have to drop the glove box. Was surprised to see the extra parts, the screws and wiring harness you have to deal with.

  6. I don’t have a 2008 Acura TL that needs one, but I have a 1999 Mercedes SL500 that needed one. Posted a video on it this week!

  7. Is it me or his views is kinda low for his subscribers he has. Seems like he lost views since he stopped doing repair vids. And when he does its usualky a honda, acura. I missed when he did toyota, ford, Chevrolet.

  8. You are rhe best dude ..butyou look like negan from walking dead😅😅😅😅👍👌👍

  9. hey eric, any plans on doing anything related to the front suspension? i have an 08 tl and my steering is loose and likes to pull on bumps and won’t align perfectly. i’ve replaced both shocks, sway bar bushings, and lower ball joints. no ps fluid leaks that i can see either

  10. Eric- do you have any solutions to a musty smell in the air vents in my Civic? It smells on heat and AC, and is especially bad when it rains and when recirculate is off.
I have already sprayed Lysol into my outside vents with fresh air on, but it didn't last long.

  11. 98% of owners will never even bother to look at those filters, they will just wonder why the air flow is not the same after a couple of years and take their vehicles to the dealer where they will be charged an arm and a leg for something that takes 15 minutes to do on a day off.
