  1. Mine has broken very badly 3 times to the point of absolute uselessness. Now that I have a good case on it is much better, but it is still pretty fragile. Also I can have no apps due to the limited space. It has its good sides, but this phone is a regular source of frustration.

  2. Even a diamond can break if it drops at the right ankle. You won't be able to scratch the diamond without using something extreme like a laser, but it can break if it just drops. So yeah… get a case no matter what phone you're using, especially if it has cost you a small fortune!
By the way, I must say it kinda aches my heart watching such tests. 😛 There's something blasphemic about them… dunno. Couldn't look away either cause… train wreck effect.

  3. I have a LG G2..This shit is fragile af!! first drop off the bed:crack in corner, orner not usable, touch problems. 2nd drop:litte crack=nothing works. I know 2 ppl who say that if there is one scratch, you can forget the whole phone! I've seen S4 totally cracked display and they worked almost fine

  4. I've had my LG G2 for almost 2 years and this is my 3rd phone. Dropped the 1st one 6 days after buying it. My then 14month old slapped it out of my hand and it fell face 1st and my case was being shipped to me that next day. The replacement phone I had the shipped case on it and a day after my sons 2nd birthday party I took the case off to clean it, got a phone call while running my mouth it slipped from my ear and fell right on the corner on my concrete balcony. Smh thank god I was on the phone with my aunt, I told her to call my mom and call Verizon for another replacement. This phone is too damn thin and too fragile, great phone just hella breakable. smh

  5. phone is a great phone dose over heat and one drop it cracks and stop working i been through 2 every time it broke and dident not work but besides that phone works great

  6. Dropped my G2 with it's otterbox on literally less than one foot from the ground and it shattered the entire screen instantly. Life proof cases my ass.

  7. I had it a long time with the case and after drops it was fine… but when I had it without the case it dropped from 20cm hight and the screen cracked badly. From a fucking hight lower than my knee.

  8. I dropped my LG G2 yesterday from a sitting in my car position so not that high up.  Was getting out of the car and had it in my left hand and dropped it.  SHATTERED the glass.  Completely unusable and only had it for like 5 days:-( Great phone other than that,.  Called a cell phone repair place and they said they have had so many issues with this phone and lost so much money that they refuse to work on them anymore.  So take that for your consideration.  Make sure you got this thing in one BEEFY case or better yet DON"T EVER DROP IT EVER!!  A google search brings up that this phone is prone to the screen breaking on the slightest impact.

  9. When I first got my G2 my baby brother sat on it and it completely shattered the screen. I had to take it in for repair and they said it would be easier just to get it replaced rather than doing repairs, because it was relatively new.

  10. yeah Ive had an iphone  and it  never broke no matter how bad I dropped it. Then decided to get the Lg and broke it twice not even that high up and you could barely see the crack and the entire screen wouldn't work.. so annoying

  11. The lcd is broken on it if you replace the lcd and screen it will be fully functional that happoned to mine but now i need a new battery coase if you look at the battery and touch it it dents mine is dented and it is exploded but i got it out before it caused any damage

  12. My lgs screen cracked in half 2 days after i got it like a single crack and it wouldnt work. It didnt even fall it was just in a bag… paid like 200€ almost and it had reset to the factory version…

  13. I don't get why you do the face test last. The side drop obviously exerts a higher amount of force due to the much lower impac area. Physics anyone?

  14. Sometimes people. Take responsibility for your actions. It's a phone not a rock. And it also depends on the unit that you got. Mine is still working fine and I've drop it accidentally sometimes. One time it dropped on the sides on a granite tile almost 4 feet. It still survived. Just only a dent on the spot. And now my G2 is now almost a year with me.

  15. My brother was getting out of his car and he dropped it from his lap, 1 foot drop right on its bottom where the charging port was. the screen cracked so small. he thought it was fine until he tried to unlock his phone, the whole screen didnt work from a small impact. this phone is garbage af. My old iphone had so many falls and cracks and it still worked perfectly fine. LG makes one hell of a piece of shit phone.
