Maybe I am missing something, you guys are benchmarking telephone? For what? are we really going to run Mass Effect 3 on them? If I game on the road I bring a PSP. This is a phone. You know, it gets us by with out our laptop and house phone when on the road. Undererclocking is cool so you can save battery life I get that, but worryin about the gfx that a phone displays seems like a waste. Movies will show well on either of these phones OTB. This is like arguing over a quarter inch of penis size.
At last!…Today i recieved 2.2 update from t-mobile uk on my Desire and i have to say i have noticed a huge difference in performance along with the extra features that come with it, it has made my phone run much more efficiently. I love it!
the evo was not running the stock rom, wich is why it was slower
wow cool guy. put the droid@550mhz next to the 1ghz smartphones and do not mention that you can easily overclock the milestone to 1ghz or 1,2ghz….
i have the hd2 running android 2.2 froyo i got a 1400 benchmark. im using darkstone hd2froyo v2.1. but under the model number it says nexus one lol. my clock speed maxes out at 1.1ghz… i couldnt stand windows mobile so thank god they had android for my hd2… i love this phone!

@Teflontron its an unofficial ROM and the evo has a 30 fps cap because of its hdmi out function
how do you change your lock screen to slide to lock and the home menu bar (phone, applications menu, and widgets etc) i just updated to 2.2 and having issues with it changing it to what you have in this video. let me know! thanks in advance!

@MacJamba HTC Evo 4G gets Android 2.2 officially tomorrow at 12:00 PM ET. Yes it will have HTC Sense UI.

@HarryHydro image quality is not based on megapixels. there are alot more factors that play into an images quality
@chrisz71 I have an EVO and I think the iphone takes WAY better pictures. This suppose to be 8 megapixels. I have a camera that's less that 4 megapixels that takes WAY sharper pictures.

I know you said you don't know when it's coming out, but it's been near a month since the video was made, and myself being a current iphone user, I am thinking of switching to the evo 4. I just want to make sure I don't buy it and then something better comes along the next day. So,

Like he said in the video, don't read to terribly much into it. The other two do not have the official froyo rom on it. Even still they were pretty close . By july 4th we will see when evo gets the official rom on it. I still say thanks for taking the time to place the rom on all three phones and giving us a look at may happen.
i sold my nexus one 2 weeeks ago when i got my EVO. im patiently watiting for the FROYO update for the evo. 4G + Froyo = Nirvana = sex with 100 hot chicks AT THE SAME TIME!

question: if u load 2.2 on an htc device with sense, will it delete sense when u flash it to 2.2? and if so would the only way to get 2.2 with sense be to wait for the official 2.2 with sense update to be pushed by htc?
@Leignheart Lol you have to realize first that the nexus one will get the update first. Second the version that is released to the nexus isn't the full thing its a release candidate. The evo 4g has the same processor so really necus one wins at least for a while…
@lodes0 thats unofficial just so you know, he ported it, when 2.2 actually gets on the evo its going to beat the n1 by a huge margin. that was just a port.
