swyping sucks for me. I guess i do not have the coordination, but i prefer the swype  keyboard because the keys are bigger and it's laid out much better.
i have galaxy s5 and pressing down on the text input areas does not bring up a list of keyboards. i've probably watched 2 dozen tutorial vids on the galaxy S5 or other android devices, and not once did my phone do what they show on the vids. They are sometimes partly right so they get me closer to the solution and i often figure it out after playing with it for awhile, but they are never even close to being right for my phone. Once i got the list of keyboards by accident and i have no idea how i did it.
Omg thank you! This helped me so much.
thanks, I just went on a 'cleanse by fire' rampage through my applications and removed data from the keyboard settings without realizing what would it do and I lost my stock keyboard which I'm used to…
Thanks man it works great
Thanks.

Hey! i just got the samsung captivate and i love it, but i noticed that the navigation buttons on the bottom of the phone turn off when u stop touching the screen for a little while, can u tell me if there is a setting that keeps them on, because i find it hard using it in the dark when i cant see them at first.
i couldnt find any thing to change the light settings on the buttons in the settings menu, please help, thanks!

thanks for the video. I'm a fairly tech savvy person, but it is nice to have such a straight forward video available. My first android phone (Droid X) is arriving in two days. Switching from iPhone 3gs.
