If i didnt watch before i get my new phone, i wouldve maybe tore off that pull sticker xD
This was a help. Thanks,
Ohh so that's how you do it bashing it on my face worked before
the droid x is no longer available, so i got a galaxy nexus
I agree totally. he helped me for sure.. I could not figured it out.. It is a free help.. why some people are so hateful.. I don't understand..
Mine is red too.. but the video helped.
very helpful,. and handy for me.. thank you. I got it out..
Thanks for the help!
The battery door on mine takes about 100 pounds of force to open..
THANK YOU! Save me from a panic. I appreciate the video. And BTW, the design of the battery enclosure is a red herring and leads you to think that you must use the little grip indentation on the lower back to remove the cover. Poor design. Thanks again.
thumbs down cuz he's a jerk
Thanks for this, saved my butt! 🙂
Dude you're hilarious =P
was helpful. thanks!!
mines red, not yellow
… mine doesn't have the big yellow tab…
Who is dumb enough to like this? Seriously? Clearly not all batteries had the "pull" tab or it came off. Mine didn't and it is pretty hard to get the battery out without it. What a dipshit this dude is. I hope when I'm fat (his hands are like sausages!) and 40 I have better things to do with my life than this douche.
P.S. Credit card works perfectly.
New phone NO pull tab.
People just don't feel 100% secure with a flimsy tab and don't want to break it.
The Droid X2 says: <- Battery Release. Just the video just provides some peace of mind that pulling is actually the right thing to do. No need to get douchy and says "PULL SMARTASS"
@kmoney9999
you are amazing! It works well…just hope the tape doesnt mess anything up internally. lol
question: does this phone has a R-UIM card (SIM card for CDMA)? or jst works like as an old fashioned CDMA phone?
Oh great. Now I've got the phone telling me that my SD card is blank or has unsupported file system. I tap on it and it says "Are you sure you want to format the SD card? All data on your card will be lost". Like my pix and videos I've recorded? I remember formatting the card when I got the phone a couple of weeks ago. Guess I'll remove it and re-install it again now. Sigh.
Thank you. I was worried that I might break the stinking phone if I messed with it too much. Why Motorola doesn't offer a tutorial video for basic phone operation is beyond me. Hell, maybe they do with one of the apps but the people @ Verizon pretty much sent me out the door telling me to figure it out.
@ezikah i think the same thing might have happened to you that happened to me. the person who sold me the phone put the tab under the battery.
thanks a lot for this vid i was very confused. and before anyone says 'it was so obvious" it's not when the salesman that put the battery in the phone when you first get it puts the tab under the battery.
Actually this video saved my butt when my phone froze up when I was expecting a very important call. Thank you! Thank you! 🙂
Oh the Humanity D:
this vid saved me a trip to the verizon store. thanks
Thanks I wonder why it's not in the manual
huh…seems easy enough, i mean that wouldve been my first instinct IF THE TAB WASNT TUCKED UNDER THE BATTERY!!! smh.
This was probably the shittiest video ever. I don't have a tab. Want to tell me how to get it out now douche bag?
nice tone, douche.
first thing i did was yank that yellow tab off…. now i have to slam my droid x to get the battery out.
huh, the black stick thing on the bottom where the tab actually is was removed and stuck on a piece of paper that came with the box. No wonder why i couldn't remove my battery.
wow i feel like dumb
no yellow tab. great.
@purecussion mine doesnt and never had a yellow tab
Mine won't slide, dude. I've been thinking of taking a butter knife to it, though.
Thank you very much.
THERE IS NO YELLOW TAB ON MINE 🙁
I have no yellow tab.
It is a red tab high speed
mine didn't have one.
Oh no. What about us numbnuts that pulled off that yellow tab thinking it meant "pull off completely." FAIL lol.
lol, thanks
I'll be happy to make a battery pull app for those who really needs one. When you click on it it'll say: "pull the yellow tab dumbass!". Or: "hahaha, you're too dumb to own this phone, get an iPhone instead." It'll only be $1.99 and I know from reading these comments I'm going to be rich!!
I just got the Droid X and REALLY appreciate these Youtube videos. Thank you for your trouble.
If you can't get the door off (like I couldn't), put on latex gloves for grip and WHOOP, off it comes!
