Android 2.2 on the Evo 4G

10. I would love to see the EVO get an upgrade in desk top space, like the HD2 where you can scroll North and South not just East and West and better phone conferencing with the ability to merge a two calls. With these few mods this would be a great phone, IMO.

13. @tibta4tibta got plenty of dropped calls on my galaxy. so bad that I'm actually switching companies and phones. and that GPS fix that we got…it screwed up my phone even worse now. to the point that its lagging so bad sometimes that I have to restart my phone.

17. At last!…Today i recieved 2.2 update from t-mobile uk on my Desire and i have to say i have noticed a huge difference in performance along with the extra features that come with it, it has made my phone run much more efficiently. I love it!

18. @YOUNGTAYORCHICAGO Sorry I didn't clarify – I plugged the phone into my MacBook Pro then put it in sleep mode. It continues to charge and takes very minimal battery power.

23. FYI, the LED flashlight is BRIGHT. I mean, BRIGHT. When the power went out the other day in my house, I plugged in my phone and the LED was so bright we were playing cards at the kitchen table by its light. It's crazy.

35. I was just prompted to download 2.2 yesterday wednesday. I downloaded it and everthing installed. It has 2.2 and its SLOW as hell on my evo. simply scrolling has dramatically been slowed down compared to when i was on 2.1. If anybody had this probem and has solved it, please help cuz 2.2 seems like it adds alot to the evo and i want to take advantage of froyo without having this issue.

36. @vanquishman Go to setting and then HTC Software update and that should get you 2.2

37. htc evo 4g finally reaches its full potential with the update of android 2.2
