Root app troubles, Word Lens and Google, Google updates, and more Android apps! – Google Play Weekly

1. Google Chrome bringing Multi-Windows support 'almost' confirms that Android 4.5 will have Multi-Window feature.

3. Ever since i updated my Note 3 to the 4.4.2 Kit Kat on Tuesday it's been lagging and draining my battery to the max and apps won't update and download. I already did a factory data reset but it's still happening. Help

5. I found out about word lens years ago, glad to see google pick it back up 😀

6. I used quick click to launch the camera when the screen is off by double tapping the volume up, kind of like the M8 feature, but immediately uninstalled after I saw how much battery it drained. I didn't see a need for it when the screen is on.

9. I wanted a chinese to english translator and it doesn't have that in the language packs. Totally useless for me.

14. I just installed 'word lens' and it's incredible. It translates all the words. Only thing is that they don't have all languages

17. I can't stand freemium apps. I really hope they stop making those apps. I would rather pay for a quality game then not pay and have Iaps and pay to win nonsense.

20. I wish the new android version has privacy guard, Then I could move back from cyanogen mod to stock.

21. Is anybody else having issues using magnet links and such in chrome?
    i cant download anything from the PB without having to use IE and i cant use magnet links on other sites either (E.G. the skyrim nexus "download with manager")

22. Why does Google always tries to stop users to root their device?
    In my opinion that's the big plus to android or linux in general: the big possibility to personalize the system like the user wishes it and for that we need root!

23. I have been loving the new Google+ app. I didn't realize how much it needed an update until I actually got it, and it is just world's better than the old google+ app. It looks better as well.

24. The icon one, if i want to go back to default icons, its there an option for that?

25. Here is my latest Google Play Weekly
    I'm always so torn on in app purchases. I'm not a fan of them like everyone else…but devs are making a bunch of money and that's always good. What to do about them eh?

    Also, Word Lens is freaking awesome.
