  1. Why redesign the softkeys? Triangle, circle and square don't mean anything to someone who's fresh to android. Oh, the triangle is the back button? wtf? The square is the multitasking switcher? WHAT?

  2. @Android Authority will this be available to current Samsung products (note 3) and also future products like the note 4 and possibly alpha?

  3. Can everyone just stop saying ios? This is not a rip off!First the ui is a little more flatter.Second its something called innovation. The Android developers were realizing that people preferred flatter designs. So they put that in android L.And as always If you don't like
The Android L UI You can always install a launcher(I prefer Nova,or Solo Launcher)And install a theme to change the ui.Third,Lets face it.Microsoft,no matter if you like there phones are not really started this,"Flat Simplistic" UI craze.

  4. I love it 🙂 In the same time you can say even if it is kinda playful, it definitely took adult direction in smooth elegant way. I would describe it as a fresh-elegant design. On the other hand, then there's iOS7 which is also colourful  but feels like it was designed especially for kids and teenagers. Now some of you might say Android totally copied Apple. I think they only inspired by Apple that they took  the original idea and made it alive in the way how it should have looked in the first place.

  5. Why do people say it looks like iOS7? iOS7 looks like Android therefore, this version of Android looks like Android, come on people.

  6. I adore this update of android and I'm looking forward to it when it comes to my Nexus 7 later on this year. Also, laughing at the people bashing iPhones and saying "if you don't like this new Android, you can root and change it unlike the crappy iPhone where you're stuck with it". I understand we have our vices, but please be smart. It seems people have forgotten that jailbreaking lets you do quite a bit with an iDevice, I'd dare to say as much as you can with rooting, or at least as much as would be needed to get the desired UI or usability increases. If you're going to bash iPhones because "I can do that on Android" and then point to rooting as the only way you can do it, it's only fair to allow jailbreaking customizations back into the fight as well. If that's the case, I've got an iPhone 4S I'd like you to meet thats had custom keyboards and UIs for 3 years now.
