  1. @RX7GSLSEowner Awesome, I look forward to it. Thanks for the update and good luck, let me know what you find that works best and perhaps I'll be able to remember the next time I'm asked.

  2. @EricTheCarGuy Ok thanks. This is intended more for grinding back welds than removing paint. I agree with you regarding blasting. I have a couple of local outfits that I use for that stuff, as I just don't like the mess and hassle of doing it myself. Out-of-the-box jobs that is, the small stuff that I can put inside my blaster box I do myself. Anyway. I hope to have a video entry this week.

  3. @RX7GSLSEowner To be honest if your trying to remove paint the best way is with a sand blaster as it won't score the metal like a sanding disc would. As for the tool I really don't know as I really don't do stuff like that often.

  4. Eric – which is the best air powered right angle small grinder tool that you can use to sand back welds on sheet metal? This typcially uses a small sanding disk. I looked at a craftsman right angle my local Sears store, but they told me that it didn't have an adaptor for mounting small sanding pads. Thanks!

  5. @paul16731 I consider tools an investment and for the professional mechanic a very important one, I'm not saying Snap-on is the do all end all in fact I have many different brands in my box but there is no substitute for a quality tool. I think the real issue with new mechanics is they end up buying a bunch of stuff that they don't need and get into a hole with the tool guy as a result. Buy just what you need and buy quality in my opinion as I've seen cheep tools COST money in the past.

  6. snap on = brain wash yes they are nice but save your money in thease hard times you get just as much with brands like gear wrench sk otc ect ive been wrenching for 18 plus years and yes i will admit when i was young it was all snap on mac but the i grew up and found the value of my doller just saying
p/s i know all you snap on guys will get pissy but oh well
    truth is truth

  7. @vinsonwade I used to live in Lewisville so that would have been too convenient. If nothing else the video will show you exactly what needs to be done to replace that belt and pump. Thanks for the comment.

  8. @rgavarrete I suggest you watch the video I made, "How To Diagnose A Cooling System Overheat" as I go over all the important points of that diagnosis. Good luck.
