  2. @michaelmoorhead86

And it will be a lot more expensive.
Plus this is the first double core, huge advantage in th market

  3. atrix aint that all great.. i like the docking stuff, but over all 2x is better.

atm: optimus 3d > optimus 2x > atrix > galaxy s II (faild to make up for the original galaxy s imo)

  4. @shad0wboss Doesnt matter. This phone still owned the shit out of SGS 2 and Atrix when it came to benchmarks.

  5. @originalquinn lg has better benchmark scores, what makes you think atrix is guna win? yeh higher res and more ram, but its not helping in benchmarking

  6. @LordMerovingian no, gingerbread does not support dual core, android 2.4 which will still be gingerbread will bring support for dual core.

  7. @theninthcircle666 the iphone run the same graphics chip as the droid x, samsung's galaxy s kill the droid x, and the tegra 2 beats the galaxy s grphics chip which means the optimus 2x can run circles around the iphone 4's graphics chip and now imagine the difference a 1 ghz dual core(which hasn't even been overclocked yet) makes when comparing it to the 1ghz(un-overclockable due to apple's limitations) apple a4 processor fond in the iphone 4. PowerVR SGX 535<tegra 2.

  8. If this isn't running 3.0 Gingerbread then the "dual cores" are not being utilized at all. Isn't Gingerbread the only Android version to have support for dual core processors? The Tegra2 processor (and GPU) is doing most of the work here (and with one core really). Still mighty impressive.

  9. Great to see a quality game on the Android platform, but it's going to take alot more to pull me away from the iPhone. I'm not an Apple fanboy, I hope there is a day where the Android marketplace destroys the App store. It's not anytime soon (or within the next few years), but this is a step in the right direction.
