1. On Christmas me and my cousin both got the Alcatel one touch fierce. Some how we accidentally switched phones and my cousin she used up all my data and I only get 3 gb of data a month. She has unlimited so she was fine when she got hers back but I had to wait a whole month for my 4g #operamax #datahorrorstory

   Having to share 2gb of data with a family of 4 people that are alway not connected to wifi.

5. #DataHorrorStories I updated to android 4.4 on the bus and the new photos app was put in and I thought that my photos were already uploaded before the update. I press upload over mobile data and my 1GB is used up. It cut off but when I got my phone plan it was not at the start of the month I started half way through which meant that I used 600mb as well as the 1GB that month and I got a huge fee. They gave me a $50 discount but still 🙁

First smart phone, 10GB data plan for the entire family get home and immediately start using chrome, YouTube, play store, online games anything that needed data to run, turns out during that time I wasn't on our homes WiFi so it was all going through the data plan I got about 7 messages saying 1GB has been added I thought it was a spam message…I think I got a new record of blowing through data #datahorrorstories

24. my worse data horror was wen it was fifa time and had jus started my data plan on my new xpreria zr. was getting constant update. problem was that i didnt realize the app was eating away at my data plan laster than anything else. so after fifa was finished i was left with nuthing. cudnt even boast to my friends after finals ended

    Anyhow, I thought I'd share my data horror story here, I suppose it's funny to others, if not informative.

    My worst #datahorrorstories is that I borrowed my Dad's windows 8 laptop for the weekend, connected it to my mobile's internet via hotspot and later found where all my internet went in the logs…
    "324mb update downloaded – install failed" repeated… tens of times >_>

    Not all of us have unlimited internet… we have like 1gb in Australia.. then the internet runs on our blood and credit cards.

    Yeah… that stung.. and so did the bill. But no harm came to the laptop as it never did get that update to work… >_> and it's outside of my reach now as apparently attempting to turn it into a boat anchor is frowned upon.

28. I 9ne switched from Verizon to sprint and my last bill on Verizon was over $1000 due to data hogging. Which I never did because I wasn't even using the phone. They still want their money. Not cool Verizon not cool.
