  1. hi eric,
i am just starting auto mechanic trade school is there any tool that is a must have? other than the typical sockets and wrenches

  2. @360treflipskater360 I explore this further on my ETCG1 channel if you want to check those videos out. Bad Mechanics and Re: Bad Mechanics. Thanks for your comment.

  3. @mrtoeknee641 Not familiar with that particular system but normally if antitheft is preventing a car from starting there is some sort of flashing light or something to indicate that.

  4. There was an ace one of those garage 'Sting' vids over here in the UK. Sorry can't remember the name. They left the baited car with an old boy in some railway arch workshop. When they came back he said 'How much did you pay for that car? I think it's been used the inspectors to test working standards. It's basically sound but there was was some really badly maintained stuff in there. Get rid or get it sorted before you take the kids anywhere.'

  5. @mdebass In the states I actually held an inspection license and they were pretty strict in how you conducted yourself and on any inspections that you did, in fact it was monitored by state troopers that could come into the shop at anytime and watch you do an inspection and pull your license if they didn't like what they saw.

  8. @Knaeckebrotsaege I suspect he has a promoted channel meaning he may pay to have his channel featured there so it's probably not going away anytime soon sorry.

  9. @Explainagainhow If I'm honest I feel they would have been better if I had put more time into their preparation and promotion, given that I really didn't have the time for more preparation and promotion I thought it best to call it off for now instead of continuing to do shows without any preparation and hope they turn out OK. Thanks very much for your comment and input.

  10. O.K. Wait! If your are talking about the news investigation where I live, the vehicle safety standards are vague, & open to much misinterpertation. That and the road side safety inspections go by a differnt code than a retailers safety inspection! Same road, same car, diffrent law??? Nevermind, the garage handbook is smaller than an Archie comic book!
