I've made a shorter (less comprehensive) version of this video for the time intolerant folks:

So the car is like a snowflake!
Monopoly is the correct word to describe Tesla at this time. Bottom line is if you can afford to buy one you should be able to afford to maintain it and fix it if you do get in a collision. Less rambling and stick to the facts and points.
some insurance company underwriters just plan Suck!! like AAA!!
This is no longer the case if you live near a parts center. My body guy says the parts are cheaper than any other car. For example my front bumber/fascia was about $125
I had a repair like that done outside of insurance/tesla at a regular body shop on my model 3. It cost $2000.
Audi has Restricted parts as well which you have to be certified in order to even order the parts.
Fools and their money are soon parted.
The hr labor is ridiculous from Tesla.
Rich folks toy that gives them warm fuzzie’s for being green,
Any hack can cave, pave, and flag the monies on a car repair (buy-here-pay-here) used lot style. If you feel its necessary to purchase an automobile over the $80,000 (or any price tag when you care about your investment) and befall the grief of an accident then take solace with the guarantee of safe, proper, and certified repair at the available facilities in the area. And for those on the outside… If you buy a salvaged Tesla, totaled, wrecked without repair the car will be blacklisted and never receive any updates and be considered broke. Insurance companies most likely will not cover.
This is hilarious if you look at his newest vid
The prices are outrageous, Windshield $1700, headlight bulb $1600, roof weatherstripping $1800! I am not sure if I should keep the car.
If you buy a tesla with a salvage title…even if PERFECT, they won't provide service. They will not sell you parts. They insist that Safety recalls may not get installed because "Your car is not a safe car with a salvage title".. Yeah.. Right. They turn off super chargers and so on.. Seems to me that they run the $$$$$$ up to the sky to result in totaled cars, so that they sell more.
Companies like this one should be an extra tax for selling they cars. They are just calling junk something can be fixed for a small price and avoid buy new one.
We need to complain this actions because it's against the environment and just turn higher the CO2 footprint. Remember, this cars have low tax because the low emissions, but with the policy of buy new one and not repair it's against the propose. So they should pay an extra tax.
Good morning from Egypt
nice work bro specially that YOU DID WIYH audio R8
They should have accepted the payout and demand to keep the car lol
Sure shows the hidden costs of owning a Tesla. The cost to repair is nuts.
Samcrac, I'm a big fan of your channel but this video is not as informative as it could be. What people need to know is this: Is there reasons that make repairing a Tesla more expensive… The answer is yes. The aluminium frame creates difficulty. Furthermore, if your car was salvaged (and bricked by Tesla) then you have no choice but go through a Tesla approved repair shop (expensive). For other situations (not bricked by Tesla), it depends. If you can find the parts yourself (ebay etc. ) there may not be reason to fear the type of repair crazy expense you are eluding to in this video. Hope you can revise this video as I think there is much more to this story than you are presenting here. Take care
These teslas are a flash in the pan
Proximity sensors come a wide variety of sensitivities. That sounds like BS to me
Haha telsa fan boys you stuipd fools hope you like blowing your money
Tesla sucks. I don't get the Tesla fan boys that are getting screwed in the but and smiling about it.
11 minutes and you didnt even say WHY this costs 34k… only speculated…
They don’t make any money on those crap cars so they scam you on parts .
Salvage title is NOT cosmetic (only). Obviously. There was considerable structural/system damage to the car and the reason of the erc $34k…
That should have taken about 3 minutes, just stick with getting the money for one ad, don't be greedy by just blathering to spin it out.
Sam I have never bid on copart. When you bid can you put in a proxy bid and you are only charged for that last highest bid like eBay???? Ex. You want an eBay item it's at $100. You bid $500. On eBay you would win at $105 even though you bid $500. Or on Copart would you still pay $500????
If you can’t afford it don’t buy it bro, it’s a aluminum uni-body design is at the top of the line. Yes it expensive only because not enough techs are trained to fix them.
After watching this one, you really need to make yourself a script, or at least talking points to stay on track without repeating yourself over and over.
Can't you make a fade out like tv shows do instead of sticking a commercial mid sentence?
The ACV value is not a made up number to get you excited about buying the vehicle. if you were a licensed registered salvage dealer or rebuilder you would know what this number actually is. and its not the real value of the car at all.
As I always said, if you’re not filthy rich wait before buying electric
