  1. Hey Chris I have a problem myself and maybe it's because I did not follow tourqe spec however I replaced my idler pulley and it acts as a tensioner as well however when I put it back on it was louder and more intense infact I relieved some tension of the bolt and it died down. Do you have any input? Both washers inside and outside including cover are rusted is there a possibility I need to replace those off hand? Thanks!

  2. Should the new pulley spin freely when installed? I just replaced the pulley but it doesn't spin freely when hand spun. I have to loosen the screw a little for the pulley to spin smoothly.

  3. I just changed the starter in my Cadillac; (which was the issue) now my car won't start; do I have to reset the computer; and by doing so does that unlock theft system

  4. Honda/acura doesn't want you doing ANY work yourself, there is NO reason why they set it up the way they do otherwise..the belt and the 14mm NO PROBLEM but, but,BUT the 12..you have ZERO chance at getting to it with a ratchet, which,as I'm typing, literally I just realized that's what the belt too is for, disregard my whiney complaint

  5. The bolt that holds the IP on is loose but just spins. It does not back out. It does not appear broken as the pulley will not pull off, nor will the bolt pull out. Suggestions?

  6. Great Video!! Just a quick question I can’t seem to find an answer to.. Are idler pulley’s supposed to spin freely without the belt on?

  7. Do you have another video showing how to change the pulley down lower? I'm having to replace both and I have never done it before. I have a 2007 Pontiac Vibe.

  8. I love trying to find how to do a job and I see Chris fix pop up. You already know it's gonna get done right. With the best camera angles I just wish I could find one about the evap system from him.💜 I hope you read this Chris thanks for all the work you do for the future car enthusiasts

  9. It didn't look like you used a torque wrench. Do you just "ballpark" the torque? I don't own a torque wrench and I don't do enough repair work to justify buying one. If need be, I may be able to borrow one. Great videos by the way. Great camera work and simple instructions.

  10. Hi Chris I have a 2007 ford f150 5.4 I replaced all my spark plugs and coils is still shaking really bad I'm getting code #354 i find out it's spark plug and coil #4 replace coil again and spark plug again and I'm still having the same problem .

  11. Is there a difference between idler pulley and tensioner pulley. When I start my car it makes a Lou squeaking noise, mostly when it’s cold tho
