  1. I can’t stand watching someone using a flat shovel instead of a spade to dig out a hole… I don’t know why, but it’s infuriating.

  2. I know I’m late but there may be a broken drain pipe under the ground. You need to get it camera inspected to make sure it doesn’t keep sinking and filling your drain line.

  3. We all have an RG in our life that convinces us to do things the right way. We all hate that guy because he is always right.

  4. The cement guy talking to Cletus is how I feel when talking to customers about fixing their computers. Everyone wants the quick easy fix BUT they try to always come up with a reason not to lol

  5. REVENUE GENERATION FOR TRACK REPAIRS IDEA-
I have a proven revenue strategy utilizing asphalt cut into brick sized pieces or just use new masonry bricks. You could Cut as many as possible from the asphalt but I would scrap or sell the pieces of torn up asphalt and get new bricks for this idea.
You sell the masonry bricks to donors. The new brick would include an engraved donor name one name per brick to be installed at the track in a strategic location could be sidewalk at entry, a wall, strip at starting line as wide as bricks sold required(premium cost if on the track itself)install like the Brickyard Track” Again premium track donors on actual track others could be at the entry of facility or other strategic location at the facility. Bricks purchased by donors could go for 1,000 in track 500 at entry and 100 other locations people that love this old track and want to see it up and running like the old days will pay up to help you make it happen and you have the ability to thank them and document their help for the life of the track with the bricks. Around a new flag pole is a great location too.
This revenue generator has been used successfully at new and renovated college and high school football stadiums and new schools projects. I have managed the construction of several of these facilities over the past thirty years often we did not leave enough open concrete walk or entry at the stadiums to fit all the bricks purchased and had to remove more concrete walk etc to fit them in to allow for future brick sales we started installing several hundred blank bricks that could be removed, engraved and reinstalled over time when donors wanted to add their name normally one time per year new donors are added. All you need to do is pick a brick type, color and size]. Collect donor orders for a set time (open once a year for three months) once year order engraved donor bricks the entire lot be it 500 or 5000 ship to various companies that will engrave the brick purchased and drop them at the site ready for installation. If the entry to the track needs renovated flatwork you can kill two birds with the brick donor funds going to renovations and a new dressed up entry. Also, as mentioned could add a brick strip on the actual track for major donors which are often local folks that want to show their support and keep the track alive for future generations. Not to get off track no pun intended but you can have advertisers logos engraved on large masonry bricks 12”x12” or 24×24 and incorporate with the bricks. Many businesses in the area or nationally based firms buy them and you can engrave just about any logo these days. Hope it helps great to see those old tracks saved I would buy one. Best of luck.
