First time I hopped in this Bald Eagle machine I had no idea why in the heck it had paddle shifters! Turns out they serve a purpose to the old guys… making smooth, crisp downshifts a breeze! I’d rather do it myself… and for DALE!

  1. How does the paddle shifters shift the trans when there is a manual gear shift lever. Can I leave the selection in 6th and paddle shift to 3rd?

  2. I just assumed it was to keep manufacturing costs down by not having to fool with different steering wheels, which is probably still true but its nice they gave them a good function. Props to GM!

  3. Im blocking your over masculine channel, no woman is going to be impressed by the way you shift, you also worship a worthless country that is horrible by throwing tear gas at children and shooting news reporters, good bye

  4. You can hear they are manual shifts man if you were to have a auto that shifts that quick it would be some sort of duel clutch system… which you can hear fart between shifts like the auto in the challenger 392 or all German DCT/DSG systems.

  5. So what’s the deal with the left paddle??? If the right one turns it on or off why have a left pddle

  6. Thats how I shift with sentra b15. You should win the arm wrestling with the stick shift in order to change gears.

  7. lol, I call BS on the Old Guy Comment. Most "Old" Guys grew up on a manual Muncie 4 speed. I'd match my manual driving over any Millennial out there! By the way thanks for explaining the paddles on a manual vette! Funny video as well, good job!
